UK private equity house Maven Capital Partners (Maven) has led the GBP20 million management buyout (MBO) of UAP Limited (UAP), a UK supplier and distributor of door and window hardware.
The transaction represents Maven’s second investment from its new buyout fund, having earlier this year led an investment in Scottish-based John McGavigan Limited.

ING Bank, in its role as Coordinator and Bookrunning Mandated Lead Arranger, together with NIBC (Mandated Lead Arranger), has successfully closed a EUR52 million Credit Facility for The Datacenter Group to support the acquisition of two datacenter assets from Rabo Bouwfonds Communication Infrastructure Fund.

Investec Specialist Bank (Investec) has appointed Joerg Bachtler to its Institutional Sales Group (ISG).
Bachtler will oversee the syndication and distribution of leveraged buyout transactions originated by Investec’s Corporate & Acquisition Finance team.
The ISG team is responsible for the global syndication and distribution of transactions originated by Investec. Bachtler will play a key role in driving growth from Investec’s client base across both European and Indian markets.

Global investment firms Bregal Investments and KKR are to sell global schools group Cognita to Jacobs Holding of Switzerland.
Cognita operates over 70 schools across eight countries, educating more than 40,000 children.
