The Wierzbowski Eversheds Sutherland Private Equity team in Warsaw has acted on the sell side on Abris Capital Partners’ acquisition of shares in the leading fillers and cosmeceutical manufacturer ITP, well-known on the local market for soft tissues fillers for its Neauvia brand.
ITP, based in Warsaw, has five subsidiaries in Italy, Germany, Poland and Switzerland. Apart from manufacturing fillers and cosmeceutical products in Italy and Switzerland, ITP also distributes medical devices to health and beauty clinics and wellness equipment to fitness centres.

NAVEX Global, a provider of governance, risk management and compliance software, has agreed a majority recapitalisation by investment firm BC Partners.
Existing investor Vista Equity Partners (Vista) initially acquired NAVEX Global in October of 2014 and will retain a minority stake in the company.

Having announced a first closing at EUR100 million for its fintech Fund last year, BlackFin Capital Partners’ BlackFin Tech 1 has now reached EUR180 million in capital commitments at its final closing.
The intitial target for the fund was EUR150 million.

Scope has published a new rating methodology for evaluating the quality and competence of individual investment teams within asset management companies.
The methodology is applied to investment teams which predominantly invest in liquid, traditional instruments such as shares and bonds, as well as in liquid alternative strategies such as long/short equities.
The new methodology expands Scope’s rating spectrum. Until now, Scope evaluated asset managers in their entirety as well as in individual asset classes (investment centres). As a result of the new methodology, a focussed assessment of individual investment teams is now possible.

Law firm Paul Hastings has represented Abry Partners II, a media, communications, business and information services focused private equity investment firm, on its disposal of Basefarm Holding AS to the Orange Group, for a total consideration of USD350 million.
This is Paul Hastings’ second deal this month for Abry, following their acquisition of Link Mobility Group.

MUFG Investor Services (MUFG), the global asset servicing arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, has appointed Oliver Scully as Head of EMEA Sales and David Sarfas as Global Head of Private Equity.

Ipes, a provider of outsourced services to Private Equity in Europe, has been authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland to provide Fund Administration services.
This authorisation, effective 16 July 2018, enables Ipes (Ireland) Limited to provide full administration services to collective investment schemes and alternative investment managers in Ireland, including fund administration, financial reporting, company secretarial and management support services.
Ipes, which has 35 staff based in Cork, expects the business to grow significantly in the next 12 months.
