The Finance Durham Fund, established by Durham County Council and managed by Maven Capital Partners (Maven), has helped raise GBP850,000 for insurance technology start-up, Honcho Markets Ltd. New York-based private equity firm Delos Capital has acquired Sage Metals Limited, a manufacturer of specialty metal products serving the North American electrical, power utility, industrial, and drainage end markets. Sage Metals was founded over 30 years ago and is based in Delhi, India.   Delos acquired Sage from its founders, Vinod K Agarwal and SP Agarwal, and partnered with one of the owners, R Krishnan, and a new US based management team in the transaction. This follows GALA Kerzen’s recent acquisition of a majority stake in Indian manufacturer Ramesh Flowers.   Through these acquisitions, GALA Kerzen is positioning itself widely and developing significant synergies within a global network. Noerr has advised the Lendico Group, a specialist in business lending, on the first major takeover of a fintech company by a bank in Germany. The buyer is ING Deutschland GmbH, the parent company of ING-DiBa AG. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.   The Noerr team which advised on this transaction was headed by the Partner Hans Radau and the Senior Associate Armin Bartsch. GAMMA Capital Management’s (GAMMA) inaugural ‘Tourism in Iceland’ report shows that the growing tourism market in Iceland is providing infrastructure investment opportunities for institutional investors.
