Private equity firm Cinven has agreed to sell SLV Group, a German-headquartered provider of residential and technical lighting, to Ardian for an undisclosed amount. Global investment bank GCA Altium has made three senior promotions in its Manchester team. Dominic Orsini and Adam Sivner become directors, while Mark Smith takes the role of assistant director.   Orsini has spent four years at GCA Altium, joining the company as an associate in September 2012. Maples and Calder has advised Western Digital on the Cayman Islands corporate and financing aspects of the acquisition of SanDisk by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Western Digital Technologies. The Montreux Healthcare Fund now owns the ninth largest care group in the UK following the merger of two of its companies. The ACH Group, which operated 25 residential services in England, last month merged with The Regard Partnership which provides learning disability, brain injury, and mental healthcare.   The Regard Partnership, headed by chief executive officer Sandie Foxall-Smith, provides care and support for more than 1,000 people making the company the fourth largest UK care group offering specialist learning disability and mental health care.   A Montreux investment vehicle acquired ACH Group in April 2014 for GBP40.5 million. Doctify, a technology platform that allows patients to search for specialist doctors and book appointments online, has closed a seven-figure Series A round led by global technology investor Amadeus Capital Partners. Founded in 2015, Doctify allows patients to search, compare reviews and prices, and book appointments with medical specialists across the UK.   The company focuses on the private healthcare market and currently puts patients in touch with doctors qualified in 47 different specialisms, including cardiology, oncology and paediatrics, as well as dentistry and dermatology.   Doctify chief executive officer Oliver Thomas says: “We are excited to announce our partnership
SS&C Technologies has acquired CRM solution provider Salentica. Tequity acted as the exclusive adviser to Salentica, which will now become a platform partner to the firm's Black Diamond wealth platform.   The Salentica team brings expertise in providing integrated CRM solutions for both Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Salesforce CRM platforms. The company will operate as a business unit under SS&C and the acquisition will add 30 employees.   With more than 5,000 users and an average firm size of over USD3 billion in assets, Salentica's clients include registered investment advisers (RIAs), broker-dealers, family offices, institutional wealth managers, and trust companies.
