Segulah V has acquired Hermes Medical Solutions AB from its founder Jan Bertling.
Hermes provides systems and software for integrating, visualising, processing and archiving imaging data from different modalities and vendors’ scanning devices within molecular imaging and radiology. The systems are primarily used by physicians enabling faster and more accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients, thereby increasing efficiency.
The Company, founded by Jan Bertling in 1976, has 65 employees and is headquartered in Stockholm with subsidiaries in UK, US, Canada and China. Customers include over 700 of the world ́s most prestigious hospitals.

Manulife Asset Management has hired Othman Domiati as Managing Director and Head of Sales and Relationship Management, Middle East.
Operating out of the firm's London office, Domiati reports to Marco Zanuso, CAIA, Head of Distribution for Europe ex-UK and the Middle East.
"Othman has varied and deep experience in asset management and capital markets, having been on the marketing and client facing side for the past 30 years," says Zanuso. Wine website Vinomofo has secured USD25 million in financing from Blue Sky Venture Capital to bolster rapid domestic growth and support operations in new markets.
Vinomofo’s first capital raise coincides with the company’s fifth year in business and the roll out of a business ‘lite’ model offer into six new markets including; New Zealand, USA, UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and China. The asset management industry has a central role to play in furthering good corporate governance in publicly traded family businesses, according to a report from March Asset Management which shows that good corporate governance has helped publicly traded family businesses become more profitable.
March CEO Miguel Angel Munoz says: “Diligent asset managers need to take corporate governance into account when valuing family businesses. Strong governance, together with the greater long term profitability demonstrated by family businesses, provides a compelling investment case. Managers have a central role to play in that process.”

In partnership with company management, the fund is providing debt and equity to invest in LeverPoint Management a Clifton Park, NY based fund administration business that offers full service accounting, tax and back office support within the alternative investment sector.
