Augentius, a specialist service provider to private equity and real estate funds, has expanded its client revenue by more than 30 per cent in 2015. This has enabled the firm to maintain its track record of achieving at least 20 per cent growth every year.
Augentius now has USD90.5bn assets under administration, spread across 373 funds for 145 clients. It is a truly global operation, with 12 domiciles, and its funds’ investors located in 101 countries.

Noerr has advised the foodpanda Group on the sale to JustEat of food delivery service companies which do not belong to foodpanda’s core business.
The transaction affects the markets in Brazil and Mexico as well as the Rocket internet services in Italy (Pizzabo) and Spain (La Nevera Roja). The total purchase price is EUR125 million.
The transactions in Italy, Brazil and Mexico have been completed. Clearance by the Spanish antitrust authorities is expected to be given in the second quarter 2016.

Private equity firm Mid Europa Partners has completed the sale of Bité Finance International BV (Bite) to funds affiliated with Providence Equity Partners.
The transaction was first announced on the 23 December 2015.
Bite controls a mobile operator in the Baltic countries (No2 in Lithuania and No3 in Latvia) that is focused on meeting growing demand in the region for a high quality network experience and providing excellent customer service. The Group offers a wide range of mobile services, internet access and data services for business and residential customers through its nationwide coverage.
LiveAction, an enterprise IT network visibility software platform, has secured USD36 million in a Series B financing round led by venture capital and private equity firm Insight Venture Partners led the investment round with participation from prior investors Accelerate-IT Ventures and Cisco Investments.
The funding will be used to expand operations globally and accelerate feature product development, further establishing LiveAction as the visibility software standard for the Global 2000.
As part of the transaction, Insight Managing Director Michael Triplett, as well as Phillip Vorobeychik, senior associate at Insight, will join the board of directors.

Nexif Energy, a Southeast Asian independent power producer backed by private equity firm Denham Capital, has taken controlling interest in the 30 megawatt (MW) Coc San hydro power project in Vietnam through the acquisition of a majority ownership of Viet Hydro Pte Ltd.
This transaction marks the first project under the Nexif Energy platform formed in August 2015.

Investindustrial has held EUR2.0 billion closing of Investindustrial VI (Fund VI), the largest private equity fund focused primarily on Southern Europe. The fund was marketed over three months and reached its hard cap with significant additional interest.
The investor base is made up of 47 long-term investors. 54 per cent of the capital comes from European investors, 41 per cent from the United States and 5 per cent from the rest of the world.
Fund VI will continue to pursue majority investments in quality European mid-market companies, typically headquartered in Italy, Spain, Portugal or Switzerland, and with strong internationalisation potential.
Global sportswear brand, SKINS, has launched an equity crowdfunding campaign in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. SKINS is working with Seedrs (and partner company, Equitise in Australia and New Zealand) to launch the GBP2 million fundraising campaign.
SKINS, which was founded in 1996 and currently sells products in 43 countries, has become famous in recent years for a number of activist initiatives in the world of sport, including, most notably, its role in calling for reform in FIFA last year. Diligent Corporation, a provider of secure online collaboration and document sharing solutions for boards, committees and leadership teams, is to be acquired by private equity firm Insight Venture Partners.
Under the terms of the agreement, Diligent stockholders will receive USD4.90 (NZD7.391) in cash for each share of Diligent stock, a consideration which values Diligent at approximately USD624 Million (approximately NZD941 Million1), including cash. The Diligent Board of Directors has unanimously approved the transaction and resolved to recommend that stockholders vote in favour of the agreement. The transaction represents a 31 per cent premium over the closing share price of NZD5.64
Offshore law firm Carey Olsen has advised specialist financial services private equity fund AnaCap Financial Partners on the close of its third Guernsey flagship fund, AnaCap Financial Partners III.
The Guernsey Fund will make equity and equity-related investments primarily in European financial services businesses, building on the successful programme achieved by AnaCap Financial Partners II.
