Asset management firm Victory Park Capital (VPC) is strengthening its capabilities in the asset liquidation industry through an investment in Yellen Partners, an asset liquidation company. VPC plans to combine Yellen Partners with existing portfolio company Reich Brothers Holdings, which focuses on capital and surplus asset solutions. MetLife invested, through MetLife Private Capital Investors (MPCI), USD8.4 billion in corporate private placements, infrastructure debt and other private transactions during 2014. MetLife is a leader in the private placement marketplace, managing a portfolio of USD56 billion in private securities investments, including USD42 billion in corporate debt and USD9 billion in infrastructure debt transactions. Private equity group ACE & Company has held the final closing of ACE Angel Partners with total equity commitments close to USD15 million. The fund seeks to generate active returns by investing at an early stage in promising technology companies, targeting high growth markets.
