AnaCap, a partner for founders and entrepreneurial management teams across services, technology and software within the European financial ecosystem, has announced the closing of its maiden Continuation Fund at €300m. This includes interests in two highly successful investments,  German insurance broker consolidation platform MRH Trowe  and tax services SaaS provider Gestión Tributaria Territorial, SA.
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation has  expanded its private credit business in Asia with the hire of Yew Chuan Sima former Nomura executive.  He will join SMBC’s loan capital markets department as head of private credit distribution, Asia Pacific, according to a statement.
Blackstone Private Equity
Blackstone is leading a loan package to back Permira’s buyout of Gossler, Gobert & Wolters, a German insurance firm, according to a report by Bloomberg. The package is valued at €950m ($1bn). 
Morgan Stanley Investment Management has raised around $1.2bn across two new funds, the North Haven Expansion Equity IX fund and North Haven Expansion Credit II fund, which will make later stage growth equity and credit investments.
