The sale of EPI, which the Quadrivio Group acquired in November 2020, marks the first exit for Industry 4.0 Fund. During Quadrivio’s two and a half years of ownership, the company has significantly increased its sales by about 125% and more than doubled its profitability.

Growth equity firm General Atlantic has completed its acquisition of Iron Park Capital Partners, a global investment manager focused on public and private credit markets, to form General Atlantic Credit.
Cure Ventures, a life sciences venture capital firm focusing on company formation around curative technologies, has closed its inaugural fund, Cure Ventures Fund I, at its targeted hard-cap of $350 million in capital commitments.
Syncona Ltd, a healthcare investment company focused on the life sciences sector, has appointed Roel Bulthuis as managing partner and head of investments. Bulthuis has over 20 years of life science venture capital, business development and investment banking experience.
Bulthuis joins from Inkef Capital, an Amsterdam-based venture capital firm, where he held the position of managing partner and head of healthcare. Before this, he served as senior vice president and managing director of Merck Group’s M-Ventures for almost 10 years.

KKR has held the final close of European Fund VI with $8.0 billion in capital commitments, making it the firm’s largest European Private Equity fund to date, surpassing the $6.6 billion KKR raised for its predecessor vehicle in 2019.
