Triton Partners, a Swedish mid-market private investment firm focused on investments in industrial tech, services, consumer, and healthcare companies, has made an offer for Finnish construction systems provider Caverion that values the business at around €1.09 billion, according to a report by Reuters.
Software investment specialist Thoma Bravo, in partnership with Sunstone Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm, has completed its acquisition of UserTesting Inc, a specialist in “video-based human insight”, in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $1.3 billion. 
Goldman Sachs Asset Management, in partnership with Everstone Capital Partners, is to acquire Cprime, an information technology services management company, from engineering consulting services provider ALTEN Group, for a reported $360 million. 
HIG Capital, a global alternative investment firm with $53 billion of equity capital under management, has sold its portfolio company Medusind to Alpine Investors (Alpine). Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Cleavemoor, a consumer sector investment advisor, has launched Cleavemoor 10, a new open ended hybrid vehicle employing the firm’s proprietary Agile Horizon Strategy, which combines a consumer sector long/short public equities portfolio with longer-term consumer private equity investments. 
Investors are demonstrating a keen appetite for alternative investments. However, they are simultaneously showing a need for a certain level of liquidity. This is leading to a growing demand for semi-opened-ended alternative funds being launched in European fund domiciles.

Blackstone has promoted Brad Marshall, senior managing director, to the new role of global head of private credit strategies, after nearly two decades with the firm, according to a report by Pension & Investments Online. The report cites Blackstone spokesperson Kate Holderness as confirming the appointment along with the addition of Jonathan Bock who has joined as co-CEO of the firm’s two business development companies, Blackstone Private Credit Fund and the Blackstone Secured Lending Fund.  Bock who joins from Barings BDC where he held the role of CEO, will work alongside Marshall, who had previously been the sole CEO of
Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) has raised $1.6 billion for its first private equity fund focused on making investments in companies providing climate change and environmental solutions, according to a report by Reuters.
Fundraising
TSG Consumer Partners has held the final close of its ninth private equity fund, TSG9 LP, with $6 billion of capital commitments. As with its predecessor fund, TSG9 was substantially oversubscribed, with demand well exceeding its initial $5 billion target.
