BlackPeak Capital has held the final closing of the Southeast Europe Growth Equity Fund at €126 million, surpassing the fund’s original target of €120 million.
BlackPeak Southeast Europe Growth Equity Fund is based in Luxembourg and is backed by the European Investment Fund, the EBRD, the IFC, Erste Asset Management, and leading regional pension funds.

Cosmetique Totale, a portfolio company of BB Capital Investments, has acquired injectables specialist Van Lennep Kliniek.
Cosmetique Totale is a market leader in the Benelux in the field of skin care and laser therapy. With the support of BB Capital, the business has now added the three branches of Van Lennep Kliniek in The Hague and Oegstgeest, having last week announced a multi-million Euro financing from international private debt fund Kartesia.
The acquisition of Van Lennep Kliniek marks the twelfth add-on acquisition since BB Capital acquired a majority stake in Cosmetique Totale in 2020.

The India-based venture capital division of Bertelsmann SE & CO, Bertelsmann India Investments (BII), is looking to invest $500 million in local start-ups, according to a report by DealsStreetAsia.
Since its launch in 2013, BII has invested in more than 17 companies in the country, some of which are already unicorns. Its investments include Eruditus, Licious, Shiprocket, Pepperfry, AgroStar, and Lendingkart.
BII, which has invested in over 15 companies since launching in 2013, is planning to makes six to eight Series A and mid-stage investments a year with initial values of $5-20 million, rising up to $40 million over time.
ARCH Venture Partners has closed ARCH Venture Fund XII with $2.975 billion to invest in the creation, development and funding of early stage biotechnology companies.
This new fund follows the January 2021 announcement of the $1.941 Billion ARCH Venture Fund XI.
