Rainier Partners, a Seattle-based, lower-middle-market private equity firm, has appointed Dave Shephard as Director of Portfolio Operations in an effort to expand the firm’s ability to accelerate value and growth across the portfolio.  
Ethos Capital has appointed Hayley Kirman as a vice president. Kirman will be involved in a range of investment functions, including due diligence, execution, and portfolio management. Kirman joins Ethos from ABRY Partners (ABRY) where she focused on investments in the financial services, software, and business services sectors, and collaborated on multiple transactions with senior members of Ethos investment team also previously at ABRY including Chris Ritchie, who joined Ethos as a Partner in January of this year, followed by Scott Stevens who joined in March as a Principal.   Kirman has served on the board of directors of several
Crestbridge has appointed David Bridger as head of its Southampton office, as the business continues to focus on enhancing its operational capabilities to deliver first-class service to global asset managers and investors. In his new role, Bridger will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the operational expertise provided through the business’s expanding office in Southampton, asserting its position as Crestbridge’s central hub for specialist fund accounting, processes, and development. Crestbridge launched its office in Southampton in December last year, its second in the UK, complementing its existing London presence and reinforcing its commitment to investing in the UK post-Brexit. Balderton Capital has appointed Rachel Bremer as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. Limerston Capital (Limerston Capital), a UK mid-market private equity investor, has appointed Lejla Pintol as Investment Associate, the first in a series of new hires to be announced over the next few months. William Blair expanded it private capital advisory team with the addition of Jake Stuiver as a director in New York, where he will work on complex limited partner–led secondary transactions. Stuiver brings a decade of secondary advisory experience and has advised on over $12 billion of LP-led secondaries. Stuiver focuses on all aspects of alternative-investment secondary transactions, including deal origination, lead management, bid development, LP alignment in GP-led sales, sales, distributions, and final execution.  Stuiver joins from M2O, where he led the firm’s LP secondary practice. Private equity and special situations investment manager Sandton Capital Partners (Sandton) has expanded its London team with the appointment of Tsvi Lewis. Tsvi joins as an investment manager and will work alongside Matt Meehan, head of Sandton Europe. He will provide transaction support on new investment opportunities and specific projects within the existing Sandton portfolio.   Having begun his career at Deloitte, Tsvi gained experience in Restructuring, Business Turnaround, and Special Situations M&A across a range of sectors covering both SMEs and larger corporates.
