Jason Griffith, an accomplished deal lawyer who advises private equity firms, companies and family offices in corporate transactions of all sizes, has joined McGuireWoods’ global private equity team as a partner in Chicago. Griffith counsels clients in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments and restructurings, as well as general corporate matters. His experience includes middle-market transactions and deals exceeding $1 billion in value. He has represented buyers, sellers and lenders in deals across industries, including a transaction recognized as the Turnaround Deal of the Year by M&A Advisor. Griffith comes to McGuireWoods from Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff in Chicago.

Madsen has over 12 years of private equity experience across sectors and regions, with particular focus on the Nordics. Before joining HIG, Stephan was a Managing Director at BC Partners in London. Prior to that, he worked at IK Partners.

Colmore, the service and technology provider for private market Limited Partners (LPs) and allocators, has appointed Christine Campney as relationship management director. Campney, who joined from the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), will sit on Colmore’s Executive Committee and be responsible for client relationship management, bringing over 25 years of industry experience. Campney joins Colmore following her previous role as Director, Real Assets and Private Equity Operations, with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments).

Managed Funds Association (MFA), the trade association for the global alternative asset management industry, has hired David Lourie as Vice President and Senior Counsel, Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining MFA, Lourie served as Associate General Counsel at General Atlantic. Lourie brings a decade of experience in the alternative investment industry. Prior to joining MFA, he was Associate General Counsel and Vice President at General Atlantic where he worked closely on issues relating to ESG. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a law degree from the University of Southern California.
