RWC Partners, a UK-based asset management business, has appointed Huan Ke as a new Head of Legal and Compliance.
Ke has over 19 years of experience and joins from Macquarie Asset Management where he spent eight years as Head of Legal (EMEA) for the Macquarie Investment Management and Macquarie Private Credit business divisions.
Ke will join RWC’s London office and have oversight and responsibility of tis global legal and compliance functions.
HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed Jorge Huitron as Senior Product Specialist for private markets in the firm’s Alternatives Team.
Huitron will be responsible for the developing HSBC Global Asset Management’s private markets offering and expanding the platform to a larger institutional investor base across Europe and Asia.
Huitron joins from AON Hewitt where he was Senior Consultant advising on private equity investment across public and corporate pension plans.

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has appointed Michelle Kirschner as a partner in the firm’s London office. Kirschner, formerly a partner with Macfarlanes, will continue to focus on financial services regulation at Gibson Dunn.

City law firm McCarthy Denning has appointed a new Partner, Dr Werner Meier, who will be working across three of the firm’s core sector practices: Restructuring, Banking and Finance, and Corporate.
Meier is one of the leading European finance and restructuring lawyers with a multinational practice, having previously worked out of the Frankfurt, New York and London offices of major international law firms. Werner will take on the mantle of Co-Head of Finance & Restructuring at McCarthy Denning.

Dentons has continued to strengthen its Corporate team in London with the hire of M&A and private equity specialist Paul Doris, who was most recently a partner in Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe’s London office.
Having previously worked in Madrid, Frankfurt and Paris, Doris specialises in advising international financial sponsors (including private equity firms, infrastructure investors and pension funds) on cross border and domestic mergers, acquisitions and disposals, with a particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has led corporate transactions involving assets and operations in locations including Spain, Latin America, Africa and India.
David Collins, partner and
UK alternative investment manager Triple Point, has appointed financial services professional Jack Rose as Strategic Sales Director.
Rose brings a wealth of experience to Triple Point having spent the last seven years working at the financial product distribution company LGBR Capital where he was head of their Tax Efficient Investment Division, LightTower Partners, and as such was responsible for creating, organising and implementing the distribution strategy for the EIS, VCT and IHT products the firm represented. Prior to this he was a Sales and Marketing Executive at Matrix Group’s Asset Management Division.

Declan Canavan has been appointed Commercial Director and a Managing Director with responsibility for business development. Canavan joins from JP Morgan Asset Management where he was Managing Director and Head of Alternative Investment strategies for the EMEA region. Canavan brings two decades of experience across a wide spectrum of alternative asset classes and investment disciplines.

Guy Pope has joined Business Growth Fund (BGF) as an investor.
Pope specialises in all aspects of mid-market transactions for sectors including, retail pharmacy, engineering and exhibitions. Before his appointment to BGF’s Reading team, he worked for BCMS Corporate.
Pope’s role at BGF will see him working across the investment process, from building relationships with entrepreneurs and businesses within the South of England to supporting existing portfolio companies and those already progressing through the investment process.

Investindustrial has appointed Antonio Gatti as a managing principal.
Gatti has two decades of investment banking experience from his time at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Managing Director from 2012 and a Partner since 2018. In 2015, he also assumed the role of Head of the EMEA Sponsor M&A Group.
Gatti, who holds a Master’s Degree in computer science engineering from Milan’s Politecnico, will join at the beginning of the new year and will focus on the Firm’s sourcing activities. He will also work closely with the business development teams in New York, Shanghai, Lugano and London to
