DC Advisory has doubled its team in Northern England with the addition of eight new hires in the last 12 months into its Manchester office. New hires include Anthony Greensmith as Vice Chairman (previously of Montagu Private Equity), Andrew Claymore as Managing Director of Financial Services in the UK, Rob Jones joins to head up the Capital Advisory offering across the North of England and Ben Jones as Origination Lead for the Manchester office. Jersey Finance has formally opened its new office in New York as the jurisdiction looks to enhance its visibility in the US and promote its proposition as a gateway to Europe for US alternative fund managers. ACA Compliance Group (ACA) is expanding its European presence with the opening of a new office in Birmingham. The office will allow ACA to offer a full suite of services designed to strengthen and streamline financial services firms’ governance, risk and compliance arrangements.   Key to the services offered from the Birmingham office will be ACA’s Analysis and Review Centre (ARC). The ARC helps to reduce the workload of CCOs and in-house compliance teams by allow them to pass on executional regulatory responsibilities to ACA. MSIF, a Liverpool-based SME fund which this week celebrates 25 years in business, is to merge the team of investment company SPARK Impact Limited with its regulated fund management subsidiary Alliance Fund Managers (AFM).
