Foresight Group (Foresight) has appointed Ray Harris to its Private Equity Investment team, following Ben Dawson’s appointment earlier this year. Harris joins Foresight as a Principal on the recently awarded GBP35 million equity fund (for the East and South-East Midlands) from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) delivered by the British Business Bank. He will be based in Foresight’s Nottingham office and the recently opened Leicester office. Neuberger Berman has moved into the broader specialty finance industry with the formation of Neuberger Berman Specialty Finance group (NBSF). Signal Capital Partners (Signal), a London-based private asset management firm, has appointed Sarbjit Nahal as its Chief Strategist.
 Nahal joins Signal from Bank of America (BofA) Merrill Lynch where he headed the thematic investing strategy team within its global research department, based in London and New York. He was also a member of BofA Merrill Lynch’s Global Wealth & Investment Management impact investing core council.
