Dave Edwards, Nick Grainger and Andy Dimmock, Partners at FRP Advisory specialising in debt advisory services, are now operating as FRP Debt Advisory as part of the full integration of Litmus Advisory within the FRP Advisory partnership of business advisory services.
The launch of FRP Debt Advisory coincides with the appointment of Andy Pickford to the team as a Director based in the firm’s Manchester office, as a response to client demand for debt advisory services from companies and private equity groups both in Manchester and across the wider North-West and North of England regions.

LightBay Capital, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm focused on middle-market opportunities, has appointed David Burcham as a Principal.
Burcham will be responsible for sourcing, analysing new investments, due diligence, deal process execution, and portfolio company management and monitoring.
Burcham brings a decade of direct investing and transaction experience to LightBay. Prior to joining the firm, Burcham spent more than eight years at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), where he most recently served as a Managing Director and led private equity and credit investments across several industries and in a variety of transaction types. Law firm Paul Hastings has added restructuring partner David Manson to the team based in the firm’s London office. Manson joins from White & Case where he was a partner.

Lodbrok Capital, an investment manager focused on the European credit market, has appointed Adam Sorab as Partner. This follows a period of organic growth and the successful launch of the Lodbrok European Credit Opportunities Fund in May 2017.

Leusch joins Equistone having previously worked at Montagu Private Equity, where he spent nine years developing a strong reputation for delivering transactions across a broad range of sectors in the North of England and Europe. Completed deals include the MBOs of Paris-based low fat and healthy spreads manufacturer, St Hubert, and Poland’s leading owner and operator of transmission towers, Emitel, at an enterprise value of EUR430 million and EUR425 million respectively.
Maven Capital Partners has appointed Alex Marsh to its investment team in the North East, as Investment Manager to transact on behalf of Maven’s private equity funds and help manage the GBP20 million Finance Durham Fund, announced earlier this year by Business Durham.
