Brock Capital Group has appointed Trevor Kidd as a Senior Managing Director.
Kidd has over 35 years of experience as a business owner and entrepreneur with extensive international experience in niche manufacturing, telecommunications, technology, private banking and specialty finance with a progressive background in multi-business senior executive level management.
Former roles include founder and CEO of K-Tech Microprecision (UK and Europe), a leading fibre optic component manufacturing specialist acquired by 3M Corporation; founder and Chairman of Auriga Europe (International), a specialist telecom accessory products online distributor; and Chairman of the Advisory Board for Exterprise Europe, an enabling intelligent (AI)
After five years at the firm, CVC Credit Partners chairman Stephen Hickey is standing down from his role for personal reasons. He will be succeeded by Hamish Buckland.
Since Hickey joined in CVC in 2012, assets under management have grown from USD8.1 billion to USD17.9 billion.

AMP Capital has appointed Tim Smith to the newly-created role of Head of Distribution, North West Region, based in New York.
Smith joined AMP Capital on 11 September and reports to Boe Pahari, Director of the North West Region and Global Head of Infrastructure Equity. He will be responsible for leading AMP Capital’s distribution team across key markets including North America, the UK, Europe and the Middle East, and his appointment cements AMP Capital’s commitment to further build its international distribution capabilities and deliver greater levels of service to clients globally.

Venture capital firm Talis Capital is bolstering its London-based team with a number of promotions and a new hire.
Thomas Williams has been promoted to Principal. He has eight years of investment experience and has supported several investments at Talis including iwoca, Utelly, C3, Reevoo, bd4travel, Senrio, Second Home, Pirate Studios and Onfido. Prior to Talis, Williams was an asset manager at Dart Capital and worked as an execution-only broker. He has a degree from the University of Leeds, a Masters in Wealth Management and is a CFA charterholder.
