Hilco Valuation Services has appointed Nat Baldwin as Director of Intellectual Property Services Europe. Baldwin will assume business development responsibility for the United Kingdom and European Intellectual Property (IP) appraisal and disposal practice assisting clients in identifying, preserving, and extracting value from these key assets within corporate transactions. Specialist direct lender Beechbrook Capital, which backs small and medium-sized businesses in the UK, has further strengthened its Manchester-based regional office team with the appointment of Jon Petty as Associate Director. Petty joins from Deloitte, where he spent five years in their Manchester-based Debt Advisory practice, advising on a wide range of financing projects. Previously, he had spent four years in the Royal Bank of Scotland Structured Finance team. Matt Iodice joins as Vice President while Maseel Mir is Director of Finance and Chief Compliance Officer. City-headquartered professional services firm RPC has hired James Kaufmann as a Legal Director in its funds team. Kaufmann joins RPC from Hedge Fund MSK Capital Partners where he was COO.
