Three Hills Capital Partners has added three new hires to its team – Joe Jefferies, Arjan Blok and Ravi Savjani, who come from Montagu, Vitruvian and Apax respectively. Jefferies joins THCP as an Investment Manager, having spent four years at Montagu Private Equity focused on the UK market. Prior to his experience at Montagu, He was previously at JP Morgan Cazenove in Corporate Finance.   Before joining THCP as a Senior Associate, Blok was at Vitruvian Partners for two years as an Associate in the Benelux and UK investment teams. Duff & Phelps has appointed Yann Magnan, Managing Director and leader of Valuation Advisory Services for Europe, as the firm’s EMEA Leader. Yann will focus on growing Duff & Phelps’ business in Europe and the Middle East across all service lines, building on the firm’s continued success throughout the region.   With more than 20 years of experience in valuations and financial consulting, Yann has represented clients in industries including telecommunications, entertainment, retail, consumer products, healthcare and energy. He has particular expertise in international transactions and valuation projects, intangible assets and taxes, and he lectures on valuation topics worldwide.  
Atlas Holdings portfolio company Iconex has appointed Craig Gunckel as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Georgia-based business solutions provider. Gunckel, who most recently served as President of Enterprise Solutions and Merchandising Displays at WestRock, brings over two decades of experience in the paper and packaging sectors.   Iconex invented the paper receipt over a century ago and continues to be an industry leader in receipts today. Bill McLeod, Eaton Partners
Placement agent and advisory firm Eaton Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stifel Financial Corp, has appointed Bill McLeod (pictured), as a Managing Director. He will continue to be based out of Stifel’s San Francisco office, establishing the eighth global office location for Eaton.   McLeod, an industry veteran with over 25 years of capital markets and investment banking experience, will focus on growing Eaton Partners’ direct private capital raising platform, advising clients on strategy and providing direct opportunities to investors across the globe. FTI Consulting has appointed Adam Bradley as a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s Operational Transformation practice. He will be based in London.  Bradley will help accelerate the growth of FTI Consulting’s Operational Transformation capabilities in Europe and further expand its services to the private equity sector. He has more than 20 years of consulting experience and focuses on shaping and delivering large, complex and urgent business transformation and profit improvement programmes for private equity-backed businesses. Octopus Ventures has added Priscila Bala, former Director of the Mentor Network at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute, to the team in the firm’s New York office. PNC Bank has appointed James Petersen as senior vice president and business development officer in it’s senior secured financing team. Based in Los Angeles, Petersen is responsible for business development with private equity firms and middle-market companies, originating asset-based and cash flow loans in southern California.   Paterson joins PNC Business Credit from the CIT Group, where he served as a vice president and business development officer. Z Capital Group, an alternative asset manager focused on opportunistic, value-oriented private equity and credit funds, has appointed of Alexander Apponyi as a Managing Director and European Head of Investor Development. Apponyi will be based in London and will lead Z Capital’s European investor development efforts.   Apponyi joins Z Capital from Jefferies International, where he served as the European Head of the firm’s Private Capital Group. In this role, pponyi led origination efforts in Europe, the Middle East and Asia and worked on more than USD14 billion in fund placements and private financings. Prior to his time at Jefferies,
Ilany Labdaoui (pictured), has joined the Infrastructure Equity team of AXA IM – Real Assets as an Analyst, reporting to Mark Gilligan, Head of Infrastructure Equity. Based in Paris, Labdaoui will draw upon his experience in both the fields of engineering and finance to originate and analyse prospective investments for the infrastructure equity business of the company. His qualification in engineering, specialising in energy, will be an important technical resource within the team.   Labdaoui’s appointment continues the strategic build out of the Infrastructure Equity team and follows the appointments of Jeff Woodard (Principal, London), Julien Gailleton (Principal, Paris) and
John Whitehead has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Exemplar Healthcare (Exemplar), a portfolio company of private equity firm Agilitas and a provider of nurse-led residential care for adults with disabilities. Whitehead joins Exemplar from Allied Healthcare where he was interim Managing Director, having Joined the business in 2013 as CFO. In his most recent role he was pivotal in the successful turnaround of Allied Healthcare, following its acquisition by Saga. Previous career appointments include senior roles with BT, as CFO of its Global Services Division, and Group Finance Director for Siemens Business Services in the UK &
