Pritzker Group Private Capital has appointed Ryan Roberts as investment partner and co-head of the group’s services team, which focuses on investing in and operating companies in various industries within the services sector.
Roberts joins the investing and operating teams at Pritzker Group with more than 15 years of significant leadership and investment experience.
Roberts’ experience includes investing in tech-enabled platforms which will allow the firm to further leverage Pritzker Group’s technology base, including from sister teams at Pritzker Group Venture Capital.
Most recently Roberts was a director on the technology, media and telecom services team for Madison
Baird Capital, the direct private investment arm of Robert W. Baird & Co, has appointed Andy Tse as a partner to help lead the firm’s investment efforts in Asia.
Tse is a member of Baird Capital’s global team working to identify and pursue investments in the technology & services sector.
A veteran executive with more than 20 years of private equity experience, Tse most recently served as managing director of AIF Capital where he led investments in industrial and services sector across Greater China, South Korea, South East Asia, India, Sri Lanka and Australia.

Private equity firm Arsenal Capital Partners has appointed Joseph M Salley, former chief executive officer of Milliken & Company, as an operating partner working within the firm's specialty industrials group.
Salley served with Milliken & Company for 20 years, holding a variety of positions at this leading, privately-held, multi-billion-dollar, diversified industrial company. Most recently, he served as president and CEO since 2008. Prior to that, he served as chief operating officer since 2006.
Milliken has 5,000+ patents worldwide, 35+ manufacturing facilities globally, and more than 7,000 associates. Throughout this same period and in the 14 years prior, Salley overhauled Milliken's
StepStone Infrastructure and Real Assets (SIRA), a global infrastructure and real assets advisory and asset management team within StepStone, has made a number of new senior appointments globally, bringing the investment team to almost 30 professionals.
Todd Lapenna, formerly at CalPERS in the US, has joined as a partner, based in New York. Varun Kapoor, formerly at Hastings Funds Management in the US and Australia, has joined as the head of investment operations, based in Sydney, and Sid Chandrasekaran, formerly at GIC in Singapore, has joined as an investment manager based in London.
James O’Leary, partner and head of
Ipes, a provider of outsourced services to private equity in Europe, has appointed Adrian Gardner as chief financial officer (CFO).
Until recently, Gardner was CFO of International Personal Finance, the FTSE 250 financial services firm.
He began his career at Price Waterhouse (now PwC), then spent 13 years at Lazard, latterly as a managing director in the TMT team.
He then served as CFO at ProStrakan, PA Consulting and RSM Tenon.

HIG Capital, a global private equity investment firm with EUR20 billion of equity capital under management, has appointed Kenneth Borton as managing director of WhiteHorse Capital, the direct lending affiliate of HIG Capital.
He will be based in London.
Borton has over 17 years of experience in direct lending, structured finance and special situations. Prior to joining HIG WhiteHorse, he was a managing director at Citi with responsibility for the credit opportunities business in EMEA, managing over USD500 million of direct lending transactions across sectors and throughout the region.

Law firm Dechert has expanded its financial services practice in Hong Kong with the addition of Michael P Wong.
Wong (pictured) joins the firm as a partner and was most recently at K&L Gates.

Wong’s practice
Alternative investment firm Summit Partners has made four promotions in its global team, with Jay Pauley and Thomas Tarnowski appointed as managing directors and Antony Clavel and Peter Francis as principals.

ACA Compliance Group has appointed Chad Neale as a managing director with ACA Aponix, its cybersecurity and risk division.
Neale comes to ACA from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was the director of cybersecurity and privacy/information security architect. In his role at PwC, Neale provided cyber assessment services to clients in various industries including financial services, healthcare, technology, energy, and entertainment.
Prior to PwC, Neale served as vice president, information security officer for First Allied Securities.
