Private equity firm Campbell Lutyens has expanded its US activities with the appointment of Gerald Cooper as a partner.
Cooper will be based in the firm’s New York office and will be focused on the development of Campbell Lutyens’ US secondary advisory practice.
Prior to joining Campbell Lutyens, Cooper spent 12 years at UBS advising on secondary transactions most recently as global co-head of secondary advisory in the private fund group in New York.
Prior to joining UBS, Cooper worked at Advantage Capital Partners focusing on direct investments in the Midwest and Southeast and before that worked in
Business adviser Richard Malczyk has joined business funding solutions provider Pegasus Funding Resources as a consultant.
Malczyk started his career in R&D before moving into product management and international marketing for News Digital Systems, part of News Corp.
At News Corp he managed the introduction of new technology to manufacturers, semiconductor vendors and large media ventures that enabled the worldwide launch of Digital TV.
Malczyk gained experience of sourcing business funding when he became managing director of a high-tech software start-up. He developed the business from scratch, raising grants and venture finance along the way.
Over the
ING Real Estate Finance has appointed Julián Bravo as head of real estate finance Spain and Portugal.
Bravo has 15 years of real estate finance experience and joined ING in November 2013.
Prior to that he held positions at HSBC, RBS, PwC and pbb.
Bravo succeeds Wouter Mijnen who led the office since May 2013 and who will further advance his international career in Australia as head of the Australian ING Real Estate Finance team.

Capital Generation Partners (CapGen), a private investment group serving ultra-high net worth families and endowments, has appointed Alex Waters as global strategist.
Reporting to CapGen’s founding partners, Waters (pictured) will be responsible for developing CapGen’s macroeconomic analysis, drawing on a range of data sources to provide a robust framework for the firm’s investment decisions.
Waters joins CapGen from Roubini Global Economics, where he was responsible for the organisation’s global forecasting effort, and producing macroeconomic and monetary policy research. Prior to that, Waters held positions at the UK Debt Management Office.
