Growth equity firm Catalyst Investors has hired David Gordon as Senior Associate. He is responsible for deal origination, transaction execution and portfolio management.
Gordon was formerly a private equity senior analyst with Wolfson Group where he was responsible for sourcing and advising on private investment opportunities. He previously served as an associate with Volition Capital and as an analyst with Jefferies & Company. Gordon earned a BS in Finance and Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Antares Capital has hired Vivek Mathew as managing director, head of Structured Products. Mathew will join Antares in the second quarter of 2016.

Alternative investment manager Lexington Partners has opened an office in Santiago, Chile, which will serve as the firm’s regional hub and enhance its strong investor and sponsor relationships in Latin America.
The office is led by Jose Sosa del Valle, a Principal who has spearheaded Lexington’s Latin American activities for the past seven years. Lexington Partners will continue to be supported in an advisory capacity by Brian D. O’Neill, who was appointed by the firm in 2010 as a Senior Advisor focusing on the Latin American region.

Laila Worrell has joined The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Partner and Managing Director in the firm’s fast-growing Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice. She will be based in New York.

Inflexion Private Equity has appointed Tom Green as Value Enhancement Director. He starts with immediate effect and will work alongside Jon Andrew to support strategic and operational value creation within Inflexion’s portfolio.
Green’s appointment strengthens Inflexion’s existing value creation team which includes international portfolio support offices in Brazil, India and China, and in-house digital expertise.

Hall Capital, a family-owned private investment company based in Oklahoma City, has added T Clark Akers as a member of the boards overseeing Hall Capital’s private equity and automotive ventures.
Akers will act as an advisor to Hall Capital Partners, the private equity affiliate of Hall Capital that has USD250 million in capital under management. Akers will also join the oversight of Hall Capital’s automotive affiliate, The Fred Jones Companies, a pioneer in the automotive industry. Akers joins other notable Nashville figures in Hall Capital’s board structure, including real estate veteran Patrick Emery and healthcare entrepreneur William “Billy” Webb.
Private investment firm Saban Capital Group has promoted Philip Han to Executive Vice President.
Han, who has been with SCG since April 2002, most recently served as the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. In this new role as Executive Vice President, Han will continue to oversee the strategy, design and implementation of the firm’s investment portfolio across equities, fixed income and alternative investments globally. Furthermore, Han will continue to lead the firm’s real estate division, which currently manages a portfolio of self-storage, student housing, retail and government office assets exceeding four million square feet in 18 states.
