Inflexion Private Equity has appointed Tom Green as Value Enhancement Director. He starts with immediate effect and will work alongside Jon Andrew to support strategic and operational value creation within Inflexion’s portfolio.
Green’s appointment strengthens Inflexion’s existing value creation team which includes international portfolio support offices in Brazil, India and China, and in-house digital expertise.
Green joins Inflexion from CPA Global, where he was Corporate Development Director of the Cinven-backed IP legal services business, focused on driving growth both organically and through the origination and execution of bolt-on acquisitions across North America and Europe. Tom started his career in
Hall Capital, a family-owned private investment company based in Oklahoma City, has added T Clark Akers as a member of the boards overseeing Hall Capital’s private equity and automotive ventures.
Akers will act as an advisor to Hall Capital Partners, the private equity affiliate of Hall Capital that has USD250 million in capital under management. Akers will also join the oversight of Hall Capital’s automotive affiliate, The Fred Jones Companies, a pioneer in the automotive industry. Akers joins other notable Nashville figures in Hall Capital’s board structure, including real estate veteran Patrick Emery and healthcare entrepreneur William “Billy” Webb.
Private investment firm Saban Capital Group has promoted Philip Han to Executive Vice President.
Han, who has been with SCG since April 2002, most recently served as the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. In this new role as Executive Vice President, Han will continue to oversee the strategy, design and implementation of the firm’s investment portfolio across equities, fixed income and alternative investments globally. Furthermore, Han will continue to lead the firm’s real estate division, which currently manages a portfolio of self-storage, student housing, retail and government office assets exceeding four million square feet in 18 states.

Arma Partners has expanded its Internet and Digital Media advisory capabilities with the appointment of Simon Carmichael as a Partner.
Carmichael will work alongside Eric Lawson-Smith and the team, who have successfully built Arma’s presence in this sector over the past seven years. He will be based in Arma’s London office and begins his role immediately.

HIG Capital has appointed Stuart Aronson, former Head of GE Capital’s Sponsor Finance Group (GSF), as head of the US Direct Klending team at HIG WhiteHorse.
Aronson served as the President and CEO of GSF and was an Officer of the General Electric Company. From 2010 to 2015, GSF was the leading provider of debt financing to U.S. sponsor middle market companies.
