BTG Global Advisory, an international alliance of independent restructuring and financial advisory firms, is expanding with the appointment of KRyS Global, a restructuring and insolvency firm with a focus on fraud investigation and dispute resolution, based in the Cayman Islands. KRyS Global was founded in 2007 and now has a team of over 65 professionals working from eight offices worldwide, predominantly situated in offshore financial centres but also with a presence in New York and London. KRyS Global provides a wide range of services including business advisory services, valuations, forensic technology services, cross border insolvency and restructuring and transition services.

Rainer Traugott is to join Latham & Watkins as a partner in the Corporate Department of the firm’s Munich office. Traugott’s practice focuses on the representation of large German corporates and private equity firms on M&A transactions and a broad range of corporate law matters.   Traugott will bring more than 20 years of experience advising high profile strategic and private equity clients in M&A transactions. Blackstone has appointed Peter Grauer to the firm’s board of directors. Grauer has been the Chairman of Bloomberg, the global business and financial information company, since March 2001 and joined Bloomberg full time as President and Chief Executive Officer in March of 2002. Mid Europa Partners a private equity firm focused on buyouts in Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey, has promoted Dominika Kozlowska-Login and Viktoria Habanova to Associate Directors, Lukasz Wlodarczyk to Senior Associate and Bartosz Malecki, Can Karapence, Filip Kisdobranski and Tomas Vrba to Associates. Adams Street Partners has appointed industry veterans Bill Sacher and Shahab Rashid to establish and build a private credit platform. The pair will lead the firm's credit capabilities from a new Manhattan office. Adams Street provides investors with access to high-quality private company securities, both directly and indirectly, through a full suite of private equity products across primary, secondary, venture/growth equity and co-investment markets. Mooreland Partners has promoted two of its London-based senior banking professionals, Louis Jeng and Fabian Zimmer, to the position of Executive Director. Jeng joined Mooreland in 2011, and is a member of the firm's Enterprise Software and Industrial Technologies and Electronics teams. Since joining Mooreland, he has completed M&A transactions for clients throughout Europe.
