Emmanuelle Pierret is joining Idinvest Partners as Investment Director of the Growth Capital team. Pierret’s role will mainly consist of the deployment of the NOVI 2 Equity Compartment taking minority stakes in SMEs and midmarket companies with strong growth potential with investment ranging between EUR3 million and EUR20 million.   Before joining Idinvest in January 2016, Pierret spent fourteen years with Naxicap Partners. She was involved in more than fifteen private equity transactions, as minority or majority shareholder. In 2015, she was a member of Naxicap Investor Relations team.   Pierret graduated from Audencia Business School.
Aquila Group has strengthened its real assets portfolio management proposition by appointing Bjoern Meyer as Team Head with responsibility for the company’s wind power and photovoltaic plants. Meyer has 15 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector. Prior to joining Aquila Group, the graduate economist held positions within banks, project developers and a utility company. Palatine Private Equity has appointed Rupert Brown as Investment Manager as the firm looks to increase the investment capacity of the southern team. Brown joins from NBGI Private Equity where he spent over four years in the UK investment team working on a number of acquisitions, including ATR Group and Horizon Care, and holding several board positions. Rupert, who is a qualified Chartered Accountant, started his career at PwC where he worked on a variety of private equity transactions and financial restructurings.   Brown will work alongside Palatine Partner Tony Dickin and Investment Director Andy Strickland in the London office. 
Harvest Partners has promoted Stephen Carlson to Managing Director of the firm. Previously a Principal, he joins the eight current Managing Directors and Senior Managing Directors of Harvest. Carlson joined Harvest in 2010 from DLJ Merchant Banking Partners. He is a cum laude graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and received a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  Carlson serves on the board of VetCor and FCX Performance and is involved with the firm’s fund investments in PSSI and Valet Waste. QIC – a global diversified alternative investment firm – has appointed Eric Belman to the QIC Global Infrastructure team in its newly-established New York office. Belman will lead the firm’s infrastructure origination, investment and execution efforts in North America. QIC is one of Australia’s largest institutional investment managers, offering infrastructure, real estate, private equity, liquid strategies and multi-asset investments.   Belman’s appointment is part of QIC’s geographic expansion strategy and further deepens the firm’s sector expertise in the infrastructure space. Elian has strengthened its recently launched commercial team with two senior appointments.
