The Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments) has formed PSP Investments Holding USA in New York to focus on principal debt and credit investments led by industry veteran David Scudellari.  Scudellari has also been appointed as Senior Vice President, Head of Principal Debt and Credit Investments of PSP Investments. "The leveraged finance landscape is currently in transition. Hawksford has boosted its corporate and private client offering with the promotion of two managers with over 40 years’ combined industry experience to associate director roles – Christine Simpson in the private client team and Sian Huish in the corporate team. Simpson, joined Hawksford as a manager within the private client team in April having previously worked for Capco Trust. Technology and Consulting firm Methys has appointed Jean Philippe Gireaud as Head of International Business Development, a move designed to support the firm’s strategy to increase its presence in Continental Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Middle market private equity firm Blackford Capital has appointed Jeffrey W Johnson as managing director. Prior to joining Blackford, Johnson served as managing director for Gilbert Global Equity Partners, LP, a billion-dollar private equity fund that was launched by Soros Quantum Funds alumni.  As a key founding member of Gilbert, Johnson was involved in all aspects of the firm's business and strategy and he originated, structured and closed several leveraged and growth-oriented platform investments up to $150 million that were focused on building shareholder value both financially and operationally.  He represented the firm's interests as a board member and oversight
Victory Park Capital (VPC), an asset management firm focused on middle market debt and equity investments, has appointed Ron Rolighed as a principal. Based at VPC’s Chicago headquarters, Rolighed brings over 20 years of experience in financial services and investment management. In his role, Rolighed will oversee new business development, investor relations and client service. He will also focus on developing VPC’s new investment strategies and institutional product offerings. Rolighed was previously a managing partner and co-founder of Mira Capital Advisors LLC, where he advised emerging alternative investment firms on fundraising opportunities.
