High Road Capital Partners has appointed Kristin A Newhall as Partner, Investor Relations and Administration, a new position at the firm. Her position will include responsibility for human resources.
Newhall has close to 20 years of experience in private equity. Prior to joining High Road, she was a partner at The Riverside Company, where she led 18 acquisitions and served as chairman or director on 10 boards of directors, and supported fundraising and reporting to investors. She began her finance career at Citigroup Investments. Newhall received an MA from Columbia University and a BA from Brandeis University.

CMS is continuing its rapid growth in London with the appointment of partner Jonathan Woolf to the firm’s Corporate team. He joins CMS from BP plc where he was Managing Counsel of BP’s M&A Legal team since 2010.
Woolf has particular expertise in M&A in the oil and gas sector, including upstream and midstream/downstream work, financial sponsors and a variety of other industry sectors. UMB Fund Services (UMBFS) has hired Michael Yanke as head of fund administration and Mackenzie Johnson as legal counsel in Milwaukee.
Yanke is responsible for operations of UMBFS’ Milwaukee-based Fund Administration team, which services registered funds of all types. He will also establish and oversee fund administration compliance policies and procedures. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the fund industry.

A month after being granted a licence to provide professional depositary services from its Luxembourg office, Elian has appointed Kerstin Lindgren (pictured) as manager of depositary services in the firm's funds depositary team.
Lindgren’s main focus will be to develop the depositary services offering for alternative investment funds in Luxembourg.
Lindgren has 15 years’ experience in the investment fund industry, particularly in depositary, global custody and stock lending services.
