F Mark Fucci and Anne-Marie Godfrey are to join law firm Akin Gump’s Hong Kong office.
Fucci joins as a partner in the financial restructuring practice, while Godfrey is as a partner in the investment management practice.
Both Fucci and Godfrey are joining Akin Gump from Bingham McCuthcheon bringing the total number of partners switching between the two firms to 28.
The firm announced the forthcoming arrival of 22 partners in London, Hong Kong and Frankfurt on 17 September and four additional partners in London and Hong Kong on 22 September.

AIM-quoted Adamas Finance Asia has made two senior appointments at its Hong Kong-based investment manager Adamas Asset Management (HK).
Viscount Trenchard and Andrew Main have been appointed as senior advisers with immediate effect. Both have extensive experience of Asian investment markets.
The two appointments add to the Asian investment experience of the Adamas team as it plays a pivotal role in Adamas Finance Asia’s planned transition into a credit finance business that will focus on providing funding for well-managed Chinese growth businesses.
The Cherry Tree Companies has appointed Paul L Novak as a managing director in the company's investment banking unit, Cherry Tree & Associates.
Novak will be based at the company's Carlson Center headquarters, and will strengthen Cherry Tree's growing sell-side advisory practice in manufacturing, distribution, food, and agribusiness, as well as expand its existing coverage of private equity.

The Credit Junction, an online marketplace lending platform focused on industrial and manufacturing small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs), has secured USD2 million in seed funding.
The round was led by GLI Finance, a specialist lender to small and medium sized businesses, with participation from several individual investors.

Investment banking boutique Zeus Capital has appointed Sir Nigel Knowles as chairman.
Knowles (pictured) currently holds the position of global co-chief executive officer and managing partner of DLA Piper.
Over the last 18 years he has led DLA Piper’s growth from a regional law firm to a global business with a turnover in excess of GBP1bn and over 4,200 lawyers across 30 countries.
Knowles’ leadership was also instrumental in the largest transatlantic legal sector merger in recent history, which saw DLA integrated with US-based firms Piper Rudnick and Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich in 2005.

Pamplona Capital Management is expanding its US private equity effort with the appointment of Bill Pruellage as a partner.
Pruellage, who will be based in the New York office, will be sourcing and managing new investments across various industrial, consumer and service sectors.
He was previously at Castle Harlan, a New York private equity firm, where he served as co-president since 2010. His recent transactions include the sale of Pretium Packaging to Genstar Capital and the acquisition of Gold Star Foods from Prospect Partners.

Power Capital Partners (PCP) has hired Eyob Easwaran as managing director and director of asset management, responsible for leading construction oversight, asset and risk management activities.
Easwaran will serve on the PCP investment committee.
Easwaran has more than 20 years of experience in the power industry in various capacities including engineering, project financing, construction, and asset and risk management.

HIG Capital has expanded its investor relations team with two new hires.
Jordan Peer joins the firm as managing director and head of investor relations, based in New York.
Thierry Edde joins the firm as director of investor relations, based in London.
Peer will oversee all marketing and investor relations activities globally across the firm’s private equity, growth equity, real estate, credit and life sciences funds. Edde will be responsible for investor relations efforts in the Middle East and Europe.

International law firm Akin Gump has appointed four partners from Bingham McCutcheon in the firm’s corporate, restructuring and funds practices in London and Hong Kong.
