Tullett Prebon Alternative Investments (TPAI) has developed and launched a screen-based matching engine called TP-AIME (Tullett Prebon Alternative Investments Matching Engine) to better facilitate transactions in alternative investments.
In addition to functioning as a price discovery and matching engine, the screen also facilitates auctions in hedge fund, private equity and real estate fund interests.
Secondary transactions in fund interests tend to be opaque. However, TPAI believes technological innovation will, in time, lead to a more robust marketplace. With thatgoal in mind, TP-AIME has been developed to increase transparency, simplify the arranging of transactions and make trade-settlement more efficient.
JTC has assisted Digby Wells Environmental (Jersey) Limited to set up in the Channel Islands by providing company and relocation services.
Digby Wells made the decision to move to Jersey following a visit to the 2014 Mining Indaba conference in South Africa which is held annually in February.

Morgan Stanley Global Private Equity (MSPE) has sold its majority interest in Creative Circle, a professional staffing firm specialising in advertising, creative and marketing talent, to On Assignment, for USD570 million.
The deal price includes up to USD30 million in contingent consideration if certain financial performance measures are achieved in 2015. MSPE acquired a majority stake in Creative Circle from its founders in September 2012 in a transaction that valued the company at USD230 million.
