Align Capital Partners’ (ACP) accounting, tax and valuation advisory firm, WilliamsMarston has acquired Bay Valuation Advisors (BVA), a provider of valuation advisory services throughout the United States. This is the third acquisition WilliamsMarston has completed in the past 13 months which brings the Firm’s headcount to more than 135 professionals and further establishes WilliamsMarston as a national leader in accounting, tax and valuation advisory services to private equity-backed and public growth companies.    Founded in Oakland, California in 2007, BVA supports its more than 200 clients’ financial and tax reporting, dispute resolution and other corporate financial needs.  
Vista Equity Partners (Vista), a global investment firm focused exclusively on enterprise software, data and technology-enabled businesses, has made a strategic investment in BlueConic, a pure-play customer data platform. BlueConic’s existing investors, including Spring Lake Equity Partners, Sigma Prime Ventures, and Converge Venture Partners, will continue as minority investors in the Company.   The investment in BlueConic was led by Vista’s Endeavor Fund, which is focused on high-growth enterprise software, data, and technology-enabled businesses seeking to expand their impact in the markets they serve. Meditology Services, a provider of information risk management, cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory compliance services for the healthcare industry, has secured a strategic growth investment from Primus Capital, a growth-oriented private equity firm focused on investing in healthcare, software, and technology-enabled services companies. Founded in 2010, Meditology provides a broad array of services to healthcare entities including cybersecurity and privacy risk assessments, HITRUST and SOC 2 assurance services, PCI-DSS ASV and QSA services, HIPAA & OCR compliance support, penetration testing, cloud security services, and other related services.
PayFit, a payroll and HR management solution for SMEs, has raised EUR254 million in a Series E funding round led by growth equity firm General Atlantic. Existing investors Eurazeo, Bpifrance and Accel Ventures also participated.  PayFit plans to use the funds to recruit additional top talent, accelerate the development of innovative new products, and increase its market share across Europe.    Since its founding in 2015, PayFit has gained over 6,000 clients, and has raised EUR179 million to date, prior to this funding round. Its EUR90 million Series D funding round, which closed in March, supported the company in the
CryptoSlam, a provider of data and transparency for the NFT industry, has closed an oversubscribed USD9 million seed capital round. The round was led by Animoca Brands, the company driving digital property rights via NFTs and gaming to build the open metaverse, with participation from CryptoSlam pre-seed investors Mark Cuban and Sound Ventures, the venture capital firm founded by Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary. Other investors in the round include OKEx Blockdream Ventures, the venture arm of cryptocurrency exchange OKEx, blockchain protocols Binance Smart Chain and Polygon, KCRise Fund, PKO Investments, Stocktwits, Forte, Twenty5Twenty and Red Beard Ventures. Symplr, a specialist in enterprise healthcare operations including governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions, backed by Clearlake Capital Group, and Charlesbank Capital Partners has raised new capital via a Clearlake-managed dedicated fund, Icon Partners V (Icon V). Software investor Hg is to make a significant investment in ProcessMAP Corporation (ProcessMAP), an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) software platform provider. Following the transaction, ProcessMAP’s management team will retain a significant stake in the business.  The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
