RIMES, a global strategic data partner for asset managers, asset owners and service providers, is to acquire Matrix IDM, an Australia-based investment data management platform, for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition will bring together superior managed data services and powerful analytics technology to help asset owners, institutional investors, asset managers and service providers solve complex data problems. Matrix Co-CEO Stuart Plane will join the RIMES Executive Committee, and together with co-founder Neil Lotter and RIMES Head of Managed Data Services (MDS) Shaun Mirams, will lead the combined MDS and Matrix IDM business segment.

MSI Express (MSI), backed by HCI Equity Partners, has acquired select operating assets from PacMoore Products, Inc (PacMoore or the Company), a founder-owned business, on 25 October, 2021.
MSI Express is a provider of contract packaging and contract manufacturing services, primarily for well-known CPG brands in the liquid and dry food space. PacMoore represents the third add-on acquisition for MSI following HCI’s initial investment in 2018. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Admix, an In-Play monetisation company that bridges the gap between gaming content and brands, has raised USD25 million in a Series B round to scale up its In-Play solution worldwide; and establish it as the content monetisation layer for the metaverse.

Aiven, a software company that combines the best open-source technologies with cloud infrastructure, has secured USD60 million in Series C extension at a USD2 billion valuation bringing total Series C investment to USD160 million.
This extension, which brings Aiven’s total funding to date to USD210 million, was co-led by existing investors World Innovation Lab and IVP, and with the participation from Atomico and others. In a testament to the growth and potential Aiven showcases in its capabilities, a number of investors increased their capital commitments to Aiven just seven months after the company’s successful USD100 million Series C.
