SkyBridge Capital, has secured an investment worth 30 per cent of the business from FTV Ventures, a $2 billion venture capital firm based in Nassau, Bahamas, according to a report by Finance Magnates.
North Haven Capital (NHC), a private investment group based in Portland, Maine, has acquired New England-based Chamberlain Group (TCG), a designer, developer, and manufacturer of anatomical medical models.

The Marketing Practice, a B2B marketing specialist backed by private equity investor Horizon Capital, has extended its presence in the APC region with the acquisition of ABM, demand and media specialist Rombii.
The deal marks the company’s first acquisition in the region and its fifth in the last 18 months, making it one of the largest B2B tech marketing specialists in the world.

Growth Capital Ventures (GCV) and its private investor network have successfully exited an investment in threat intelligence platform Intelligence Fusion after the company y was acquired by Sigma7, providing a profitable return for all investors.

NorthEdge-backed Distology has acquired Squareball Digital (Squareball) a specialist in Identity Access Management strategies. Squareball already works alongside some of Distology’s vendor partners, including Okta and Auth0.
The acquisition represents another significant milestone for Distology following the investment from lower-mid market private equity firm NorthEdge in March 2021.
Since investing in the business, NorthEdge has focussed on supporting Distology to invest for growth, which has seen the business expand its team, move offices, launch the Distology proposition in Europe, increase strategic vendor partnerships and gain recognition for the work they do to drive diversity in the technology sector.
Sentinel Capital Partners, a private equity firm that invests in promising lower midmarket companies, has acquired SmartSign, an online provider of customisable signs, labels, and tags for regulatory, compliance, and safety applications.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, SmartSign operates a network of nearly 30 websites, each dedicated to offering highly specialized and customizable products to customers to fit thousands of specific-use cases. SmartSign services businesses of all sizes, including sales to 75% of the Fortune 1000 and across hundreds of verticals, including education, healthcare, and industrials.

Calulus has led a funding round in Optalitix, a provider of low code SaaS products, data analysis and AI models to insurers, and other financial institutions, providing £2.5 million of the total £4 million raised.
The funds will primarily be used to expand he sales capacity, invest in marketing and accelerate product development by expanding the engineering team. United Trust Bank subscribed for new equity following an earlier investment and support for the business.
