Mercer Global Advisors (Mercer Advisors), a national Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) backed by probate equity firms Oak Hill Capital and Genstar Capital, has acquired Jordan Financial Strategies, a wealth management firm located in Denver, Colorado.
Found by Kristy R Jordan, CFP, ChFC, CLU, in 1998, Jordan currently serves clients with assets under management (AUM) of approximately $120 million.
The firm provides a comprehensive wealth management and financial planning offering to clients.
Funds advised by SK Capital Partners (SK Capital) have invested in VanDeMark Chemical, a producer of life science chemistries, in partnership with existing co-owner Comvest Partners (Comvest).
SK Capital’s investment will serve as a catalyst for a new strategic direction as the Company seeks to deepen and expand its presence in fine chemistries for the global life science market. VanDeMark has been a platform company in Comvest’s private equity portfolio since 2019. Comvest will remain a co-owner of the Company.

ClearCourse, a group of innovative technology brands providing software solutions and an integrated payments platform, backed by private equity investor Aquiline, has acquired Blue Zinc, a specialist in solutions for the management of patient referrals, clinical pathways and clinics for the physical (physiotherapy and wider musculoskeletal) and mental health segments in the healthcare sector.
The company will form part of ClearCourse’s Business Services division and expands the latter’s growing footprint in the healthcare space.

Waysia – formerly known as Alorsfaim – an e-grocery startup based in Paris and focused on Asian food, has raised €10 million in a Series A fundraising round led by Banyan Pacific Capital, a North American VC fund.
Current shareholders iFly.vc, Cathay Innovation and Goodwater Capital also participated in the round along with new investor Dastore, the dedicated digital retail fund run by Daphni, supported by Carrefour, and Convivialité Ventures, the VC arm of Pernod Ricard, takes part in the round as well.

Wowza, a live and video on demand (VOD) platform powering more than 6,000 customers globally, and a portfolio company of private equity firm Clearhaven Partners (Clearhaven), has acquired Flowplayer, a Sweden-based video player specialist.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Drawbridge, a provider of cybersecurity software and solutions to the financial services industry, has secured a strategic growth investment from Francisco Partners, a global investment firm that specialises in partnering with technology businesses.
Existing investor Long Ridge and Drawbridge’s leadership team will remain significant equity holders in the company.

EagleTree Capital (EagleTree), via its EagleTree Partners V funs, has acquired MacKenzie-Childs from Castanea Partners. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
MacKenzie-Childs, an artisan-driven American heritage home decor brand, will be a new platform investment in the EagleTree portfolio. The company’s operations, management team and personnel will remain unchanged following the EagleTree investment.

21.co, the parent company of 21Shares, a global issuer of cryptocurrency exchange traded products (ETPs), has raised $25 million in a funding round led by hedge fund Marshall Wace. The round values the business up to $2 billion, making 21.co Switzerland’s largest crypto unicorn.
With this round of financing, 21.co will continue to drive rapid, targeted growth through first-of-their-kind products, key market expansions and strategic talent acquisitions. Other investors in the round include Collab+Currency, Quiet Ventures, ETFS Capital and Valor Equity Partners.

CVS Health Corp has agreed a deal to acquires Signify Health Inc, a home-health and technology services provider and portfolio company of private equity firm New Mountain Capital for around $8 billion, in a further expansion of the business beyond its retail roots, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The report cites a report released on Monday as confirming that CVS paying $30.50 a share to acquire Signify in an all-cash deal. The company reportedly beat off competition from the likes of UnitedHealth Group Inc, Amazon.com Inc and Option Care Health Inc to agree a deal.
New Mountain Capital formed
Rockbridge Growth Equity (Rockbridge), a partnership-oriented middle market private equity firm with a differentiated approach to building and growing companies, has sold Kings III of America (Kings III), a third-party provider of elevator and pool emergency monitoring solutions across North America, to Arcline Investment Management.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Under Rockbridge’s sponsorship, Kings III completed several major strategic initiatives. These include recruiting key additions to the Company’s management team; expanding into new markets; scaling the inside sales team; acquiring a close competitor; and building out new marketing and distribution channels.
