Pipeline Technique, an onshore and offshore infrastructure welding, coating and fabrication specialists backed by private equity firm Bluewater, has acquired Global Project Services (GPS) from Global Energy Group (GEG). GPS is headquartered in Invergordon and has a presence in Bergen, Norway. The company specialises in pre-fabrication, field specialist welding and mechanical works for the infrastructure, nuclear, LNG, hook-up, and decommissioning sectors. Alter Pharma, a Belgian pharmaceutical group focused on the distribution of medicines and the development and manufacturing of generic drugs commercialized worldwide, and a portfolio company of The Riverside Company, has invested in EcoPharmaSupply (EPS). Also a Belgian pharmaceutical services and product company, EPS is a distributor and partner of choice of several pharmaceutical brands on the Benelux market, including prescription drugs, medical devices, OTC pharmaceuticals and consumer health products. Riverside acquired a majority stake in Alter Pharma in December 2017. Three Rock Group, an Irish insurance broker backed by private equity firm Livingbridge, has completed the acquisition of insurance broker Quote Devil. The acquisition of will allow Three Rock Group to elevate its position in the Irish insurance market and fuel continued growth through new product offerings and distribution channels.   Quote Devils team brings extensive experience and skills that will help the Three Rock Group to accelerate the growth of the business.  Quote Devil will continue to operate as an independent brand and customers will continue to benefit from the expertise of Quote Devil staff.
Veleta Capital and funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management have launched a strategic joint venture, Veleta Capital Partners (VCP), creating an institutional lending platform for multifamily and commercial real estate assets. Oaktree has also acquired a minority stake in Veleta Capital. Veleta Capital Partners is a real estate lending platform headquartered in Los Angeles. The management team has an established track record with deep relationships across multifamily and commercial real estate lending and ancillary services around it, including underwriting, construction, servicing, and more. Oaktree is a specialist in alternative investments, including credit, private equity, real assets and listed equities.
Seaside Equity Partners (Seaside), a growth-oriented and operationally focused private equity firm, has launched BlueThread Services (BlueThread), a platform for roofing and exterior service providers. Increasing funding
Liquidity Group (Liquidity) has secured USD775 million in capital commitments year-to-date 2022, led by funds and entities managed by affiliates of Apollo.
Airbus Ventures has invested in Bcomp’s oversubscribed Series B financing of CHF32.4 million alongside a group of mobility, financial, and impact investors led by BMW i Ventures. An advanced provider of eco-efficient Natural Fibre Composites (NFCs) for performance and weight reducing applications, Bcomp will use this new funding to scale its workforce, increase its domestic and global production capacity, and strengthen its commercial footprint.
Audax Private Equity (Audax) has completed a strategic growth investment in Flow Control Holdings (FCH), a provider of sanitary flow components to producers of foods, beverages and pharmaceuticals. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Phil Pejovich, CEO of FCH, will continue to lead the Company alongside the existing management team.
Revecore, a provider of revenue integrity and complex claims solutions for health systems, has been acquired by private equity firm GrowthCurve Capital, alongside management and existing shareholder Riverside Partners. The investment from GrowthCurve will allow Revecore to build on its market leadership in specialised healthcare revenue recovery while accelerating investments in its proprietary technology platform to deliver additional value to health systems nationwide. GrowthCurve, Riverside, and Revecore have also announciedthat Dave Wojczynski, former President of TransUnion Healthcare, has been appointed CEO and will lead the strategic direction of the business.
