ClimeCo, a global company that focuses on developing and trading environmental commodities and advising clients on emerging environmental market solutions, has raised over USD50 million in an investment round led by Warburg Pincus, a leading global growth investor, and The Heritage Group, which made ClimeCo’s first outside capital investment in early 2021.
Coro, an all-in-one cyber security platform for mid-market organisations, has raised USD60 million ins a Series C round of financing, bringing the total funding raised by the business in the last six months to USD80 million.
The lates round has been led by Balderton Capital, with participation from existing investor Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP).
The funds will be used to further accelerate company growth, which has already seen significant momentum with 300 per cent year-over-year growth for each of the past three years and into 2022. Expansion plans include aggressive hiring to triple the Coro team globally, with an emphasis
RockX, one of Asia’s largest crypto staking providers, has completed a USD6 million Series A funding round led by Amber Group.
Other prominent crypto industry leaders including Matrixport, Primitive Ventures, FBG Capital, Draper Dragon, IMO Ventures, Alpha CW and Megastake also participated in the round.
RockX will use the funds to enhance its product and service offerings, as well as grow its team to better meet the increasing global demands for quality staking and data services.
The completion of this funding round values RockX at USD30 million.
Into a portfolio company of private equity firm Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), has acquired TheraCell, Inc, a California-based regenerative medicine company.
The acquisition will strengthen Isto’s focus on offering extraordinary solutions for surgical and clinical care procedures within spine, orthopedics, and sports medicine. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will expand Isto Biologics’ growing portfolio of orthopaedic grafts and introduce Theracell’s proprietary and patented TheraFuze DBF technology that will become part of Isto Biologics’ Influx line.
vHive, a software solution that enables enterprises to deploy autonomous drone hives to create Digital Twins of their assets, has secured USSD25 million in a Series B funding round led by PSG.
Previous investors Octopus Ventures and Telekom Innovation Pool (TIP), Deutsche Telekom’s strategic investment fund advised by DTCP, also participated in the round. Ronen Nir, Managing Director at PSG, has joined vHive’s board of directors.
PSG’s investment in vHive aims to further accelerate the company’s expansion of its global customer base and enable the company to scale up operations in key markets, as well as to enter new ones.
HIG Growth Partners (HIG), the dedicated growth capital affiliate of HIG Capital, has completed a strategic growth investment in myKaarma, a growing, end-to-end SaaS platform for franchise automotive dealership service lanes.
Founded in 2012 and based in Long Beach, CA, myKaarma’s unified solution includes an integrated suite of scheduling, interaction, communication, and payment tools that encompass the entire repair process, thereby driving efficiencies for dealer service lanes as well as improved experiences for vehicle owners.
HIG’s growth investment will be used by myKaarma to drive further innovation and product enhancement to meet the growing needs of the evolving dealer space,
Corsha, a DC-based API security company that provides an innovative approach to securing API communication between trusted machines, has raised USD12 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Razor’s Edge Ventures.
1843 Capital also participated in the round.
With partners like Dell Technologies, Corsha offers a first-of-its-kind platform to secure communication in both on-prem and cloud environments. Its patented technology allows security teams to cryptographically assign dynamic identities to a set of trusted machines and pin API access only to those machines.
Climeworks has raised CHF600 million (USD650 million) in a funding round co-led by Partners Group (acting on behalf of its clients) and GIC, with further participation from (in alphabetical order) Baillie Gifford, Carbon Removal Partners, Global Founders Capital, John Doerr, M&G, Swiss Re, as well as other new and existing shareholders including long-term investor and anchor shareholder BigPoint Holding AG.

Equinix has completed its deal to acquire West African data center and connectivity solutions provider MainOne (www.MainOne.net) for an enterprise value of USD320 million, marking the beginning of its expansion into the African continent.
The completion of this acquisition augments Equinix’s long-term strategy to become a leading African carrier-neutral digital infrastructure company by being able to bring a full range of transformative technologies and connectivity to Nigeria, Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire.
This acquisition will extend Platform Equinix into West Africa, giving organisations based inside and outside of Africa access to global and regional markets.
Tristan Capital Partners’ latest opportunistic fund European Property Investors Special Opportunities 6 (EPISO 6) has acquired a majority shareholding in Raag Hotels Limited which owns Point A Hotels.
The transaction will provide a full exit for the Wellcome Trust, whilst the other current shareholders, Queensway, a company associated with the Jivraj family, and a company owned by Naguib Kheraj remaining as minority partners.
