Parthenon Capital has made an additional investment in CardWorks, the parent company of CardWorks Servicing, Merrick Bank and Carson Smithfield.
In connection with the transaction, Parthenon’s co-CEO and managing partner, Brian Golson, will join CardWorks’ Board of Directors.
The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
New elderly care search platform, Lottie has raised GBP2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Kindred.
Lottie also secured investment from angel and Zoopla executive, David Wascha as well as former Airbnb and Facebook director, Caroline Hudack. Tom Blomfield and Lendable co-founder Victoria van Lennep also reinvested.
Centauri Therapeutics Limited (Centauri), an immunotherapy company founded by Animatrix Founders LLP and focused on the treatment of infectious diseases, today announced the close of its GBP24 million Series A investment round.
Centauri secured equity funding from Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund, Evotec SE, and Novo Holdings REPAIR Impact Fund. Existing investors include founding investor Animatrix Founders LLP (via its company LAK Holdings LLP), as well as Kent Life Science LLP and Wren Capital.
The funds will support the continued advancement of the Company’s antimicrobial resistance (AMR) research and development, using the Alphamer® platform to identify and progress novel antibacterial candidates
Sharegain, a capital markets infrastructure fintech, has raised USD64 million in a series B round led by WestCap.
Citi, EJF Capital LLC and Optiver PSI, also participated, along with existing investors include Maverick Ventures Israel, Blumberg Capital, SixThirty, Rhodium, and the Kessler family office.
The round is the largest series B to date in the securities lending industry. WestCap Partner Scott C Ganeles will join the Sharegain board. Ganeles presently sits on the boards of Tradeweb and NYDIG, and is the former CEO of Ipreo, a global fintech company servicing global financial institutions.
Three Hills Capital Partners (THCP), an investment house providing flexible capital solutions to successful entrepreneurs and management teams in the European mid-market, has invested in Gorent, an Italian specialist in the rental of eco-sustainable vehicles for urban sanitation, via Three Hills Capital Solutions III (THCS III).
THCS III has committed cEUR50 million to support further organic growth of the business as well as the buyout of certain minority shareholders. The transaction, which is expected to complete in March 2022, represents the third investment in Italy for THCS III and the last investment out of the Fund’s portfolio of ten assets.
Reebelo, an APAC-focused marketplace for affordable, sustainable tech devices, has raised USD20 million in a Series A funding round led by Cathay Innovation and June Fund.

GP Bullhound has acted as financial advisor to InterCloud, a leading Cloud Connectivity platform, on its EUR100 million Series D fundraising round, led by Aleph Capital.

Companion Spine LLC, the France-USA specialist in diagnostic and interventional spine surgery, has raised USD55 million inna Series A financing led by Viscogliosi Brothers, the company’s co-founder and historical shareholder, and jointly invested by a global medical technology company.
Viscogliosi Brothers initiated and formed Companion Spine to focus on spine pain treatment, motion preservation, precision diagnostics and interventional care to allow for a comprehensive spine health and a total spine care continuum approach for patients, spine pain specialists, treatment centres and payors.
