Equus Capital Partners (Equus), a real estate investment manager, has appointed Moira DiSandro as an associate.
In her role, DiSandro will focus on business development efforts, specifically capital raising for the firm’s commingled closed-end fund series as well as for its co-investment and programmatic joint venture activities.
Prior to joining Equus, DiSandro served as the director of business development for FS Investment Solutions, where she was responsible for identifying and developing new relationships with OSJs and centres of influence advisor groups across the country.

SeaBeLife, a biotech company developing drug candidates intended to block cell necrosis, has received EUR1.37 million (USD1.49 million) in financing from Bpifrance.
This financing, which has been granted in connection with the French government’s ‘Deeptech Plan’, will contribute to research into first-in-class drug candidates for the treatment of acute liver, kidney, heart and brain disease.

Apex Group Ltd has been appointed by Perennial Partners to provide fund administration services to the Perennial Private Ventures Fund.
This mandate win follows a series of successful acquisitions for Apex in the region, including Australia-based Mainstream Group, and New-Zealand-based MMC.
Perennial Private Ventures Fund is targeting a raise of AUD200 million to invest in high growth private businesses, providing “patient” capital in the years before a potential liquidity event. The Fund has secured cornerstone investment and attracted further interest from private wholesale investors, family offices and superannuation funds.

CoinShares, a European digital asset investment firm, has, following approval from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, acquired an additional 20.8 per cent stake in Swiss-based FlowBank.
This acquisition was priced at CHF24,740,000. Following the Company’s October 2021 strategic investment of a 9.02 per cent stake in FlowBank, the deal brings CoinShares’ overall holding to 29.3 per cent, with voting rights equal to 32.06 per cent.

Fasanara Capital has made two significant additions to thitse team to strengthen deal origination and support the launch of its new Fintech-focused Venture Capital Fund.
The first addition is Raj Dutta, who has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer.
Dutta joins Fasanara having spent the majority of the last twenty years in various head of marketing and investor relations roles at institutional hedge funds and fund of hedge funds. The Oxfordshire Pension Fund Committee has been recommended to approve cutting its multi-asset (DGF) target allocation of 5 per cent to 0 per cent.
The Board has also been recommended to increase its allocations to private equity from 9 per cent to 10 per cent, infrastructure from 3.0 per cent to 5.0 per cent, and private debt from 3.0 per cent to 5.0 per cent.
The GBP3.2 billion fund’s total allocation to alternatives would remain at 33 per cent of fund investments as a result of these changes.
Global private markets investor Pantheon has made a key new hire within its private equity investment team, with the appointment of as Amyn Hassanally as Partner and Global Head of Private Equity Secondaries.
Hassanally brings considerable experience to the role from a formidable career in private equity forged over the past 23 years. He joins Pantheon following almost 17 years at Coller Capital in both New York and London, where he was an Investment Partner and formerly Global Co-Head of Investment Execution.
