British Patient Capital has invested in Epsilogen, a London-based developer of novel therapeutic antibodies to treat cancer, as part of a GBP30.75m Series B funding round. The investment has been made via Future Fund: Breakthrough, a GBP375 million programme where BPC co-invests with private sector investors in innovative, R&D-intensive UK companies. Based at the London BioScience Innovation Centre, Epsilogen is working with immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies to develop new therapeutic treatments for solid tumours. 
Ceros Capital Markets, the investment banking division of Ceros Financial Services, has completed a USD15 million Series D (Series A4) financing round for Pristine Surgical. Pristine Surgical will apply the funding toward commercialisation of its single-use visualisation platform developed for surgical and diagnostic endoscopic procedures.   Ceros focuses on fundraising for early-stage medical technology and medical device companies that are developing disruptive technologies, particularly for diagnostic and non-invasive procedures. The firm is targeting to raise USD150 million this year. Ceros completed USD117 million in transactions in the medtech sector in 2021 and USD145 million since 2020.
Elevation Securities has hired Paul Young as Senior Managing Director, Senior Special Situations Analyst in the Special Situations Group. Young will be based in New York City and report to Ian Harris, Senior Managing Director and Head of Research, who leads the Event Driven team. Young joins Elevation Securities with over two decades of industry experience, most recently as a Senior Analyst on the Event Driven Research team at Olivetree Financial. Arrowpoint Advisory and Rothschild & Co have advised the shareholders of Order2Cash, a European B2B order-to-cash software provider, on its sale to Billtrust, a US-based B2B accounts receivable automation and integrated payments provider. Founded in 2000, Order2Cash is dedicated to making the management of the order to cash cycle as streamlined and efficient as possible.  Billtrust is a provider of cloud-based software and integrated payment processing solutions to simplify and automate B2B commerce.  The transaction reinforces Arrowpoint Advisory’s experience in the financial software sector.
Saigon Asset Management (SAM) is to become an equity investor in Anfin as well as a strategic partner. Both firms will collaborate to leverage SAM’s diverse portfolio of investment funds to expand assets offered on Anfin’s stock trading app, bolster corporate governance, and work with other institutional investors on future investment rounds. This expansion is poised to capitalise on increased interest in trading by Vietnamese retail investors, alongside a government push to do the same.  Anfin is Vietnam’s first fully digital broker, providing a mobile friendly app to deliver the next generation of tradable securities and wealth management products. 
The Solas Sustainable Energy Fund ICAV (SSEF), an EU-focused fund targeting energy efficiency investments managed by Solas Capital AG, has secured a significant institutional investor in MEAG, the asset manager of Munich Re and ERGO. MEAG will contribute a substantial amount to the SSEF on behalf of the Munich Re Group and other institutional investors. The funds will be used to implement energy-saving measures in the building sector. Anrok, a sales tax solution for software-as-a-service (SaaS) businesses, has secured USD2o million in new funding to help software companies manage sales tax end-to-end and maximise future revenue potential. The funding was led by Index Ventures and Sequoia, with a valuation of over USD100 million. With this capital, Anrok will further extend its product offering for customers, expand its team, and further the vision of being the audit source of truth for the internet economy.
Counterpart, a management liability insurtech, has raised USD30 million in a Series B growth financing led by Vy Capital, a global technology investment company that has backed leading companies such as Coalition and Reddit. Prior investors also participated in the round, including Valor Equity Partners, an early backer of Tesla, SpaceX, Addepar and GoPuff, and Felicis Ventures, which has funded Plaid and Credit Karma, bringing Counterpart’s total capital raised to USD40 million. Counterpart will use the growth capital to expand its footprint in the USD20 billion private company management liability insurance market, scale its team and launch new products–including Crime
British Earth Observation scale-up Satellite Vu, founded in 2016, has successfully closed the second round of its Series A, bringing total investment to GBP20 million. Satellite Vu’s first funding round was led by Seraphim Space Investment Trust Plc, the world’s first listed SpaceTech Fund.  New participants in the second close include Contrarian Ventures, as well as US investors Lockheed Martin, and In-Q-Tel, Inc — notable for its mission to invest in cutting-edge technologies to enhance the national security of the United States.   The funding round highlights Satellite Vu’s rapid growth – the company raised its seed round funding of
Romco, an international metals recycler producing clean and sustainable essential metals that decarbonise the global supply chain, has secured USD6.2 million in a Series A funding round. Romco has sold 3.39 per cent of equity, valuing the company at USD180 million.  The Company has also signed up to private company share trading platform Asset Match, to provide more investors with secondary market access.
