Speedcast, a communications and IT services provider, has successfully closed on a new USD350 million USD Credit Facility. PSP Investments Credit USA LLC (PSP Investments) led the transaction, which was comprised of a USD300 million Term Loan B and a USD50 million Priority Revolving Credit Facility, both of which were privately placed with a select group of direct lenders.  The transaction re-capitalises the March 2021 equity investment by Speedcast’s owners, Centerbridge Partners, L.P. (Centerbridge), a private investment firm, and provides additional balance sheet capital for growth.
Riskonnect, the leader in integrated risk management (IRM) solutions, has acquired Sword GRC, a UK-based software company that specialises in project and enterprise risk management solutions, from Sword Group. The acquisition advances Riskonnect’s IRM approach by incorporating project risk into its platform and enabling customers to bring all aspects of enterprise risk under one roof.     Bryan Garnier & Co acted as financial advisor and Mayer Brown acted as legal counsel to Sword Group, and Kirkland & Ellis acted as legal counsel to Riskonnect.
DoveVivo, the largest co-living company in Europe, has acquired ALTIDO, one of the largest short-term property management groups in Europe. The transaction, which involves the reinvestment of capital by ALTIDO’s management team in DoveVivo, leads to the creation of the largest residential management platform in Europe with more than 2,500 properties and apartments under management in 40 cities, in 6 countries (Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, UK and Scotland).    DoveVivo was advised on the transaction by Lazard as Financial Advisor, by Linklaters as Legal Advisor, by Wepartner as Strategic Advisor and by Alberto Picariello as Fiscal Advisor.   ALTIDO was
Good-Loop – a global ad tech company that converts people’s attention to ads into donations to good causes – has closed a Series A round of USD6.1 million.   The round was led by New York-based investment fund, Quaestus Capital Management (QCM), with additional backing from Scottish Enterprise, impact investor SIS Ventures, European ad tech fund First Party Capital and investment raised on the crowdfunding platform Seedrs – bringing total investment into the ad tech for good platform to USD8.2 million since it was formed in 2016. Wallife, an Italian insurtech startup focused on protecting the individual from risks arising from technological innovation and scientific progress in the three areas of genetics, biometrics and biohacking, has raised USD4.8 million in its first round of funding. Hiro Capital, a specialist European VC focused on video games, metaverse technologies, creator platforms and gamified fitness, has launched Hiro Capital II, a EUR300 million (USD340 million) fund focused on backing the world’s emerging gaming and metaverse innovators. UBS Asset Management (UBS-AM) Real Estate & Private Markets (REPM) has made the first investment for its Infrastructure Debt Platform High Yield strategy (IDP HY).
