Point72 has closed on a USD600 million funding round for Point72 Hyperscale, its inaugural private equity fund that acquires companies and uses applied artificial intelligence to modernise them into market leaders.

Pancho’s will join the Sabrosura Foods family of well-known brands, which include: El Viajero, La Morenita, Reynaldo’s and Bio Salud!. Centre Partners, a middle market private equity firm with offices in New York and Los Angeles, has acquired KNS International (KNS), a data-driven designer and drop shipper of branded footwear to blue-chip e-commerce retailer platforms and online marketplaces.

Almost all asset managers across all asset classes appear to be recognising the importance of diversity within their own investment teams. Yet despite this, Redington’s Sustainable Investment Survey found that most asset managers across real assets, private debt, LDI and multi-asset funds are not considering diversity metrics such as gender when researching potential investments.
