Perwyn has appointed Maxime Menu as an Investment Manager in its Private Equity team. Menu joins from OMERS Private Equity, where he worked as a Senior Associate. His experience includes working on majority, direct control buyouts with target equity investments of around USD300-600 million.  A fluent French and English speaker, he also speaks Italian and German and has worked on many transactions across Europe, with a particular focus on the UK, France, and Benelux.   His team at OMERS, led by recent Perwyn recruit Martin Le Huray, managed an asset portfolio valued at around $14.8bn.  Menu held asset management responsibility

KKR is to acquire Japanese chemical storage tank operator Central Tank Terminal (CTT) from an affiliate of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA).  The investment will be used to reinforce CTT’s leading position in the chemical storage tank industry and to pursue future growth opportunities, including bolt-on acquisitions. CTT is Japan’s largest independent chemical storage tank operator, offering over 300,000 cubic meters of storage capacity across seven terminals located near key ports and strategic hubs around Tokyo Bay, Osaka Bay, Nagoya and Kitakyushu. Greentech start-up Plan A, a leadng platform of science-based tools for carbon accounting, decarbonisation, and ESG management, has successfully closed a USD10 million Series A funding round led by European venture capital firm HV Capital and Netherlands-based Keen Venture Partners. Financial services company Beckett Investment Management Group (Beckett) has made a strategic bolt-on acquisition in the East of England, as it continues to expand amid continuing strong demand for its trusted services.
