Trilantic North America, a growth-focused private equity firm, ahas promoted Ted Rosenwasser to Partner, bringing the firm’s leadership team to 15 Partners.  This follows the appointments of Giulianna Ruiz and Christopher Murphy to Partner and the addition of Kristin DePlatchett as Partner and Head of Investor Relations earlier this year.   Rosenwasser joined Trilantic North America as a Senior Associate in 2014 and primarily focuses on investments in the business services and light industrials sectors. Scottish biotech Roslin Technologies has been awarded a major grant to develop its world-leading technology for cultivated meat – meat grown directly from animal cells without the need to raise animals.  The grant is part of a UK government drive to make food production more sustainable, highlights the transformative potential of cultivated meat and recognises Roslin Technologies’ leading capability in the space.    The GBP1 million is split between a grant from the Government’s innovation support body, UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), under the Transforming Food Production programme, and investment led by the British Innovation Fund. Maven Capital Partners (Maven) has led a GBP2.5 million funding round in Power Roll, a developer of ultra-low-cost and lightweight flexible film for energy generation and storage. The transaction comprised two investments from Maven managed regional funds including a GBP500,000 investment from the Finance Durham Fund, established by Durham County Council and overseen by Business Durham and a GBP250,000 investment from the North East Development Capital Fund, supported by the European Regional Development Fund. Jonathon Kaufman and Ted Michaels have joined Evercore’s Investment Banking business as Senior Managing Directors in the Infrastructure, Utilities and Renewables Group based in New York. Kaufman was most recently Global Co-Head of the Energy & Infrastucture Group at Credit Suisse. Prior to that, he was Global Head of the Infrastucture, Utilities and Renewables Group. He will lead Evercore’s efforts across Utilities and Renewables in New York. Over his more than twenty-year career, he has advised on M&A and capital markets across renewables, energy transition, conventional power and utility transactions for corporate, private equity and infrastructure funds. Closed Loop Medicine has closed a GBP13 million investment round from a range of top UK and European venture capital investors.  The money has been raised to finance its personalised drug + digital therapy (DTx) combination products which are being developed to improve outcomes for patients and clinicians through precision dosing.   Round led by Ananda Impact Ventures and BGF, joined by a strong syndicate of investors including LifeArc, Longwall, Meltwind, IQ Capital, Downing Ventures and Cambridge Angels.   The financing was oversubscribed.    Closed Loop Medicine (the Compan), the global leader in the development of single prescription drug plus
SRP Companies, a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Partners and North American category manager and solutions provider to more than 50,000 retail outlets, has acquired Aerial Bouquets, a US distributor of popular foil and latex balloons as well as coordinating gift items, such as plush products and floral accessories.  This addition provides access to a new merchandise category for existing SRP customers and an opportunity for SRP’s further growth into the grocery channel. Arcmont Asset Management (Arcmont), a European private debt asset management firm, has completed fundraising for its Senior Loan Fund II and associated vehicles, attracting total investable capital of EUR5 billion. The EUR5 billion raised exceeded Arcmont’s initial target, with the success of the fundraise reflecting the strong support received from both new and existing investors globally, including public and private pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds and family offices. More than half of the commitments were from investors in Arcmont’s prior funds, with strong participation from Europe, the United States and Asia Pacific.    To date, Senior Loan Fund

Headquartered in Nashville, TN, WSO partners with national, state and local water agencies to reduce water loss and optimise much needed investments.
