Private equity firm CVC Capital Partners has entered into final exclusive negotiations with Advent International to acquire Corialis (Core Innovative Aluminium Integrated Solutions).
Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Belgium, Corialis is a European supplier of aluminium profile systems for windows, doors, sliding elements, roof systems and conservatories.
The group has global reach with significant operations in Belgium, France, the UK and Poland.
The terms of the transaction, which requires workers’ council information and consultation and is subject to the approval of relevant market authorities, have not been disclosed.
Marlin Equity Partners’ portfolio company QualiTest Group, a software testing and quality assurance specialist, has appointed Sanjay Jawa as group chief financial officer (CFO).

Two investment teams from Allianz Investment Management (AIM), part of Allianz Group, are to join AllianzGI’s expanding global private debt platform.
Alongside Sound Harbor Partners, the US private credit manager AllianzGI announced it was acquiring last week, these new teams will form the core of a broad private debt platform within the firm’s alternatives segment.
From 1 January 2017, Allianz’s Munich-based corporate loans team, headed by Thomas Schneider, and the Westport-based US private placement team, headed by Charles Dudley, will join AllianzGI’s global investment platform.

Private equity firm CVC Capital Partners has appointed Fazle Husain as a partner and head of US healthcare.
Husain will be based in CVC’s New York office and will join the firm in January.
Husain joins CVC from the private equity firm Metalmark Capital where he was head of healthcare investing, having joined in 2007.
Prior to joining Metalmark, Husain was a managing director at Morgan Stanley in the private equity business, where he spent 18 years.
He has a successful track record of investing in healthcare companies for over 25 years, including investments in the healthcare
