Supply chain solutions proviser DSV has completed its acquisition of UTi Worldwide Inc.
Jens Bjørn Andersen, CEO of DSV, says: “We are proud to welcome customers and employees of UTi to DSV. Private equity firm Mid Europa Partners has reached an agreement with CEE Equity Partners, the investment advisor to the China CEE Investment Co-operation Fund (China-CEE Fund), to invest in Energy 21.
Mid Europa invested in Energy 21 in 2010 and has since developed it into the largest Czech-based independent operator of photovoltaic power plants in Central and Eastern Europe, with an installed generation capacity of 61 megawatts peak.
The China-CEE Fund was established by China Exim Bank in partnership with other institutional investors from the CEE region to capitalise on investment opportunities in CEE countries.

Private investment firm Guardian Capital Partners has acquired the assets of Rose America Corp the compnay behind the dog toy brand Hyper Pet.
In addition to dog toys, the company also designs, manufactures and markets pet collars and leashes and other useful pet products under the Hyper Pet brand, PetWear brand and private label.

Goodwin Procter has advised Kreos Capital on its fundraising of Kreos Capital V, the debt provider’s latest growth debt fund. Kreos Capital V was significantly oversubscribed, hitting its hard cap of EUR400 million.
Kreos Capital provides debt financing to high-growth companies in Europe and Israel, meeting the diverse needs of growing companies at different stages in their development. There is a strong demand for flexible financing and Kreos V has already closed initial commitments to several businesses.

Guernsey firms Carey Olsen and Northern Trust have assisted private equity secondaries specialist Coller Capital on the USD7.15 billion final close of Coller International Partners VII (CIP VII), one of the island’s largest fund launches of 2015.
Like its six predecessor funds, CIP VII will take a flexible approach. Created in 1989, Maumy Impression is a specialised printing firm located in the Bordeaux region, in La Réole and managed by Xavier Sinsou.
In six months, Alliance Etiquettes has integrated three build-up acquisitions in speciality wine and premium food labelling, representing a consolidated turnover of around EUR20 million. Alliance Etiquettes now consists of Groupe Laulan, Groupe Enes and Maumy Impression.
