Investment bank Bryan, Garnier & Co is merging with Cartagena Capital, a technology advisory boutique headquartered in Munich, Germany.
Cartagena Capital will be renamed Bryan, Garnier & Co GmbH, and the combined entity will feature one of the largest Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) investment banking teams in Europe.
The Cartagena Capital team, comprised of 28 professionals and senior industry advisors, will be fully integrated with Bryan, Garnier & Co’s investment banking team of 120 professionals. Private equity firm Wynnchurch Capital has launched Wynnchurch Industries, a new platform company which has been established to invest in industrial materials companies.
The new platform will be led by Chairman & CEO, Grant H Beard, who previously served as CEO of Wolverine Advanced Materials, a subsidiary of Wolverine Automotive Holdings, a former Wynnchurch investment.

Cyrus Investment Management (CIM), a specialist engineering turnaround EIS investment adviser, has launched fundraising for Cyrus Precision Engineering EIS Fund 2.
The Fund will identify undercapitalised and undervalued Precision Engineering businesses in the UK that are suitable candidates for “growth investment”: the introduction of new capital, management, products and markets that improve the value of these companies enabling them, in turn, to be sold as a single, aggregated business at a premium to a third party trade buyer after a minimum of three years.
