Private equity firm TA Associates has completed a minority investment in WAG payment solutions, (Eurowag), a provider of payment solutions for freight and passenger carriers across Europe and Turkey. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

A fund advised by SHS Gesellschaft für Beteiligungsmanagement mbH, has acquired puracon's business operations from the insolvent predecessor company.
Based in Rosenheim, puracon is a packaging specialist focused on the sterile assembly and packaging of medical devices and implants in GMP certified cleanrooms. The range of services that it provides its globally active customers also includes consultancy with regard to all regulatory issues as well as conducting the required testing, certification and validation in compliance with the respective national directives. Puracon realigned its business in light of increasingly stringent regulatory requirements in 2013/2014.

Rubicon Partners and Grovepoint Capital have cquired EnServe Group Limited from European private equity firm Cinven for an undisclosed amount.
EnServe is a provider of infrastructure support services to the utilities sector, operating principally in the UK. EnServe was acquired during December 2010 by Cinven and today comprises three divisions: Electricity, Utility Services and Analytics. The Group works in partnership with a large number of commercial, public and utility organisations, operating from more than 30 locations across the UK and employing 1,650 people.

Exponent Private Equity has announced a number of changes to its team as part of the company’s succession planning strategy.
Richard Lenane has been appointed as Managing Partner with effect from 1 January 2016 in succession to Hugh Richards who will retire from the firm after its AGM at the end of June. Elsewhere in the team, Carl Lavin and James Gunton have been made Directors, while Partner and Finance Director Craig Vickery’s role will be broadened to encompass responsibility for the firm’s operations.

Private equity firm JW Child Associates has agreed to sell Sunny Delight Beverages Co (SDBC), to Brynwood Partners VII L.P. for an undisclosed amount pending regulatory approval.
SDBC, a Cincinnati-based company, was formed by JW Childs in 2004 when it acquired the iconic SunnyD brand from The Procter & Gamble Company.
Brynwood Partners also owns the Harvest Hill Beverage Company which markets Juicy Juice products, the Hug juice brand and Daily's Cocktails brand.

Environmental investment-focused private equity fund Ambienta has acquired Mikrotron, a German-based provider of high-speed machine vision cameras.
Mikrotron, together with Tattile, which Ambienta purchased in 2012, will constitute the core of LakeSight Technologies, the consolidation project backed by Ambienta aimed at building a European leader in the machine vision sector. Machine vision systems, typically used in quality inspection and automation solutions for industrial processes, are crucial in reducing unnecessary processing, thus improving energy and materials efficiency.

Emmanuelle Pierret is joining Idinvest Partners as Investment Director of the Growth Capital team.
Pierret’s role will mainly consist of the deployment of the NOVI 2 Equity Compartment taking minority stakes in SMEs and midmarket companies with strong growth potential with investment ranging between EUR3 million and EUR20 million.
Before joining Idinvest in January 2016, Pierret spent fourteen years with Naxicap Partners. She was involved in more than fifteen private equity transactions, as minority or majority shareholder. In 2015, she was a member of Naxicap Investor Relations team.
Pierret graduated from Audencia Business School.
