Renewable Energy Trust (RET) Capital has promoted president and chief operating officer (COO) Karen Morgan to chief executive officer (CEO).
Morgan succeeds John Bohn, a former commissioner of the California Public Utilities Commission, who will continue as Executive Chairman. Morgan and Bohn co-founded RET Capital in 2012 along with Christian Fong, who today becomes the company’s new chief operating officer and chief investment officer. The trio will continue to work together closely on corporate strategy and operations.

Omnes Capital has invested EUR11.5 million in Dispam, a France-based specialist in temperature-controlled transportation, as part of a primary owner buy out (OBO) alongside current Chairman Pascal Masse.
Dispam was founded in 1971 and is based in Le Pontet in the Vaucluse region of France, offering its clients a range of high value-added solutions structured around two main areas of expertise: temperature-controlled (positive cold) transportation of fresh produce and general cargo; and complementary logistics services (management of logistics flows within the framework of integrated solutions – storage, warehousing, consolidation/deconsolidation, order preparation).

Gryphon Investors (“Gryphon”), a middle-market private equity firm based in San Francisco, has completed a majority investment in Jensen Hughes, a specialist in fire protection engineering, fire code consulting and related life safety services in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
CEO Phil Rogers and the remainder of the Company’s management team have retained a significant ownership position in the company and will continue to lead Jensen Hughes after the closing of the transaction. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Growth equity firm General Atlantic has promoted Jörn Nikolay to managing director and Roni Elchahal, Andrew Ferrer, and Rajat Sood to principal.
Nikolay leads the firm’s Munich office. Elchahal is responsible for the firm’s EMEA capital partnering effort based in London, and Ferrer and Sood are senior investment professionals in the firm’s New York and Mumbai offices, respectively. The promotions will be effective as of 1 January, 2016.
