CamberView Partners has appointed Allie Monaco Rutherford as a Principal.
Rutherford brings to her new role at CamberView more than 15 years of experience researching and advising on corporate governance matters. She was most recently a Director at Ernst & Young LLP (EY), leading the firm's corporate governance initiatives in the US.

New research by Capita Asset Services shows a dramatic uplift in the capital raised on London’s Alternative investment Market (AIM), with the amount generated by new listings and cash calls in 2014 at its highest level in four years.
Since AIM was established in June 1995, companies (excluding investment vehicles) have raised a collective GBP79.5bn, GBP31.0bn in initial public offerings, and GBP48.5bn in rights issues.

Magma Fincorp has approved the preferential allotment of equity shares worth INR5 billion (~USD80 million) to a clutch of investors including KKR, Indium V and LeapFrog Investments (LeapFrog).
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
Indium and LeapFrog, both new investors in the company, will invest INR 2.2 billion and INR 2.0 billion, respectively. KKR, which first invested in Magma in 2011, will inject an additional INR 0.8 billion.
Magma will use the new capital to grow its business and capture opportunities created by India’s economic growth and improving financial markets.

Novan Therapeutics has secured USD50 million in an oversubscribed private financing led by new investor Malin Corporation with strong participation from Novan’s existing private investors throughout the Research Triangle area of North Carolina.
The round closed 27 March, 2015 at USD50 million, including an August 2014 initial filing of USD10.3 million.
