David Andrews has agreed to join the Evermore’s Investment Banking business as a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s Energy Group.  Andrews will be based in Evercore’s Houston office and will focus on oilfield services and equipment companies. He joins 8 other advisory partners and a team of more than 70 oil and gas advisory professionals in Houston, London, Aberdeen, Mexico City and New York. Andrews was most recently a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank and Head of Oilfield Services coverage. He started his career at Lehman Brothers and has over 15 years of experience covering the Oilfield Services sector.

The newly-launched Bio/Med Investor Network is to focus on early-stage investments in bioscience, medical technologies and digital health companies.  The Network is supported by Georgia Bio, the Georgia Research Alliance and each of the state’s research universities. The commercial law firm Noerr has advised and assisted Oakley Capital in its acquisition of majority stakes in the German and Polish subsidiaries owned and operated by the consulting and systems company Damovo.  Damovo is specialised in integrated solutions in the field of unified communications and collaboration (UCC).   The buyer is the fund “Oakley Capital Private Equity II”, which is acquiring the shares from Damovo II.
